While the SP was lower and the finish\t\twasn’t what you expect from her, if it were one of her normal distances, she\t\twould have been right in it as she was closing fast. Given nearly 2 months off and\t\tlooks to come back fresh at her favorite distance.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Only real knock I can find is that she’s yet to get her picture\t\ttaken in a graded race.\u00a0\t<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Interesting part here is that this filly is favored over\t\tthe #9 ranked filly just above her, yet is nearly ranked 200 spots lower.\u00a0\t\tI think the oddsmaker is playing games on us.\u00a0 Haiving said that, until her\t\tmost recent outing, her form seemed to be on the decline, but a drop in distance\t\tand a little different strategy sitting just off the lead, brought this horse back\t\tto the winner’s circle. Which effort do you get today?\u00a0\t<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\tGREAT PLAINS RESIDENCY<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

Is she ready to step back up in class?\u00a0 Short break after, but it’s\t\ther favorite distance.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\tCareer allowance runner has yet to taste stakes company let alone graded company\t\tand 7f seems a bit of a stretch for this filly.\u00a0 This is a bad combination,\t\tbut the oddsmaker sees something with this filly as she is listed at 13-1.\u00a0\t\tHas a nice run of 100+ SP’s, but that was mostly against NW.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\tMy Selections:<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\tCo-morning line favorite <\/span><\/font>Best There Is<\/span><\/font><\/b> seems to be a little short on running\t\tground today to make it first across the wire. <\/span><\/font>Channel A Spirit<\/span><\/font><\/b>, <\/span><\/font>World Colliding<\/span><\/font><\/b>\t\talong with <\/span><\/font>Deep In Space<\/span><\/font><\/b> will have there own race to see who can hold on\t\tlonger. <\/span><\/font>She Might Be Giant<\/span><\/font><\/b> ordinarily would be right there, but I follow\t\ttrends and her trend is not good when coming off short rest.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

\t\tThis leaves me <\/span><\/font>Danehill Seeker<\/span><\/font><\/b>, <\/span><\/font>Leader Of The Pack<\/span><\/font><\/b> and <\/span><\/font>Assaulted<\/span><\/font><\/b>\t\tfor the top spot. <\/span><\/font>Danehill Seeker<\/span><\/font><\/b> excels at stalking, while <\/span><\/font>Leader Of The\t\t\tPack<\/span><\/font><\/b> and <\/span><\/font>Assaulted<\/span><\/font><\/b> close from the parking lot. My concern with <\/span><\/font>Assaulted<\/span><\/font><\/b>\t\tis that she will get lost early and with the class in this field, not be able to\t\tovercome the deficit. But in the end, I’m going to go with <\/span><\/font>Danehill Seeker<\/span><\/font><\/b>\t\toff the nearly 2 month break. She will get first run at the leaders and I feel will\t\tbe able to get to the lead before <\/span><\/font>Assaulted<\/span><\/font><\/b> and <\/span><\/font>Leader Of The Pack<\/span><\/font><\/b>\t\twill be able to get there.\u00a0 But I think they will be able to get up for podium\t\tfinishes.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
