Twenty two-year-old fillies go, and this is as deep as it gets. Four of them come out of The Darley Grade I September 20th at 8.5 furlongs same distance, two come out of the Walnut Tree Grade I September 13th at 8.5 furlongs same distance, and three come out of the Dell Computer Debutante Grade I August 22nd at 7 furlongs.

Boy, do we have a big race here with the 2 year old fillies that will take to the track in the G1, Breeders’ Bowl Filly as they go 8.5 furlongs on the fast turf track in California. The rain in the forecast is going to miss in this race, and the crew will have the dirt ready for racing. We have many that could take this race and some consider them favorites while others considered as wannabees hoping to get a good run in. Regardless just getting a horse into the Breeders’ Bowl is a great accomplishment in itself regardless of win or lose. We have a full field of twenty fillies that will make the start on Saturday while several others missed the cut and will be looking in from the other side. We have all of the morning line odds and post positions set, so let us now take a preview of the twenty 2 year old fillies that will make the start on Saturday in California in the G1, Breeders’ Bowl Juvenile Filly.

1. Dam is CHANGE DA PARADIGM, stakes placed allowance winner $100k.

Perfect 5-for-5 homebred for kybred618. She won the Margarine Stakes G3 September 26th at 8.5 furlongs on good dirt by a length and three quarters with a 91, same distance as today. She won August 8th at 7 furlongs on good dirt by three and a half with a 91, and she has won four times on off tracks. She is 4-for-4 on off tracks for $196k. CPU 456. Undefeated at 5-for-5, but this is Grade I now. She has won her last three starts on a wet track but she does not get that on Saturday. Can she find her fifth win in a row on this fast track in California when she heads out of the paddock to the cheers of an excited crowd.

2. She won her debut April 1st by nine with an 82. Lightly raced, only 3 starts. CPU 370. She has never run 8.5 furlongs. She is a G2 winner and was third the last time out in a G1. But can she step up to 8.5 furlong representing the Orphan Racing residency.

3. She won an allowance August 11th at 8 furlongs by three and a half with an 86. She started in a $100,000 maiden claimer July 11th and won by four and three quarters with an 82. CPU 426, tag $100k. Grade I winner at 8.5 furlongs, that 90 win at the distance matters. She has never been off the boards, and a good eye grabbed her in a claim back in July. She aspired to a G1 win last time out at the distance and could be a threat here if she can run a 90+ this time out to the cheers of an excited crowd.

4. She won an allowance August 8th at 8 furlongs by a quarter with an 86, and was third September 12th in the KeggerDay Fillies Juvenile Mile G2 at 8 furlongs by two with an 86. CPU 301. Although doing well for the owner she ran an 86 speed last time and that was at 8 furlongs. She may need to step it up a little here in California representing the Orphan Racing residency.

5. That 91 maiden win at 8 furlongs and 90 second at 8.5 furlongs in a Grade I second time out is big. CPU 456. She has only two starts, but both have been good ones. Can she hit it and get it when she heads over to her gate to the cheers of an excited crowd.

6. She won the Getaway Stakes G1 August 23rd at 7 furlongs by a length with a 92, and won July 4th at six and a half by a length and a quarter with an 80. Second March 22nd by a nose with a 79. She is 3-for-5 all sprint, has never run 8.5 furlongs. CPU 469. She was a G1 winner last time with a nice speed. She looked sharp but can she go 8.5 furlongs representing the Midas residency. And Pineapple and Olive pizza is not a bad choice regardless of what some of them say.

7. Sixth June 14th in the Stoker G2 by five and a quarter with a 79. CPU 330. She did get a G3 win last time in Illinois, but this is an entirely different race of which she will need to step up her game representing the Orphan Racing residency.

8. She won The Darley G1 September 20th at 8.5 furlongs by a head with a 91, same distance as today, beating Alina Voss and Fleetwood Karen who were second and third. She won August 9th at 8 furlongs by four and a half with a 90, and won July 8th at seven and a half by four with a 90. CPU 457. Grade I winner at 8.5 furlongs same track. She won the G1, Darley last time out at the distance. She should be in the mix here when she breaks from her gate to the cheers of an excited crowd.

9. CPU 317. Has a nice record but has never run past 7 furlongs is my concern here. It is a big jump up to go 8.5f here representing the DelPen National residency.

10. Won August 15th at 8 furlongs by three with an 85, and won her maiden June 20th at 7 furlongs by a length and a quarter with a 72. CPU 505 highest in field. She is improving fast, 72 to 85 to 93. She ran a nice speed last time out in a G2 at the distance. Can she challenge her representing the Empire State Racing residency.

11. Won her debut June 30th by twelve with an 86. CPU 456. That 91 second at 8.5 furlongs same distance is right there. She was second in the G1 Darley last time and is a proven competitor when she heads over to her post representing the Midas residency.

12. Tenth September 20th in The Darley G1 at 8.5 furlongs by eight and a quarter with an 81, same distance. She wants six and a half, not eight and a half. CPU 290. She floundered in the Darley jumping up to 8.5 furlongs. I can’t see a lot this time out unless there is much improvement representing the Orphan Racing residency.

13. Won June 15th at 7 furlongs by four with a 90. CPU 410. She is 5-for-7 and likes 8 furlongs. This filly has not hesitated on taking on both the boys and the girls and has made a heavy schedule out of it. She looks likes she will need to step up her game a little when she heads out to go 8.5f for the first time representing the Orhan Racing residency.

17.
