Galloping Joy Looks Tough To Beat<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/B><\/P>

Northern California<\/SPAN><\/B><\/st1:place> – I was late!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I arrived at the track about an hour into training hours and I had to hope that the four 2 YO fillies I had come to watch had not yet gone.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I was here to cover The Strange Case Bonanza, a 7 1\/2 furlong race over the refurbished turf course for a purse of $75,000.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The race was named after a 6 YO mare, Strange Case, who had three wins from 13 starts and then was retired due to injury.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>All her wins were as a 2 YO and that includes her only stakes win.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is the dam of one foal to race, a maiden.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Buda’s Luck<\/SPAN><\/B> (2\/5) is trained by Lacostra <\/I><\/B>and was made the favorite off of some bullet works.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is a pretty bay filly with a white face by War Chant.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She came by with the pony and was looking sharp and could hardly keep her feet on the ground.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It’s hard to know what first time starters will do but this lady looks awfully professional.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Cantfoolacorleon<\/SPAN><\/B> (5\/2) must be stabled very near to Lacostra<\/I>. \u00a0<\/SPAN>The daughter of Royal Anthem was under a strangle hold by her rider as she galloped by her mouth wide open.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Owned and trained by Billzpaid,<\/I><\/B> she was hitting the ground good and has one win from three starts, a wire to wire victory over the grass.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Also at 5\/2 on the morning line is Galloping Joy<\/B>, a daughter of Galileo, owned and trained by Tflyer<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A striking dark bay filly, she is ranked # 41 on the turf and has won both The Nana’s Girl and The Her Rules stakes.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is very athletic looking and has never been out of the money.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is clearly the one to beat on Saturday.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

I had about given up on the last entry but she came plodding up late to jog the wrong way for a mile.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Lava Pinto<\/B> (99\/1) has a win but on the main track and won for $4,000 claim.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has had many owners, each worse than the last, and now is stuck in the factory barn of the CPU<\/I><\/B> stable.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I watched her jog and she looked off in the right front but I suppose by race time she will be fine.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It will take a small miracle for her to get a major share of the purse on Saturday.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
