On paper and according to the bookies this is a two horse race and it may end up that way but not with the two you might expect !!

ESTROGEN is the favourite based on her ultra consistant 100+ speed figures in graded races recently. She has won a Grade I on turf at this distance but she has looked to be a little short of a finish at 10f other than that. She is by Sadlers Wells, and I would think that 12f on turf (or dirt) would be her distance. Too good not to get close here but might not get the expected win.

THE AUS BOSS(AUS) is very lightly raced for a four year old and has been running in sprints and over a mile. She has been crying out for a step up in distance recently though and being by Nothin Leica Dane (out of Danehill) this should be her ideal trip. I expect a massive run today and she looks like the winner, especially as she sits within striking distance of the lead and may get first run on Estrogen who likes to lead.

SPOOKY BALLET may pose the biggest danger to The Aus Boss judged on her latest fast finishing efforts at 9f and again as another who sits near the front she may benefit form an early run on the favourite. Expect a big run.

FIRM KING(IRE) is by Desert King and has beenrunning very well over a mile. She looked strechedby her latest 9f run and could find todays 10f just too far. She likes to come from off the pace but will be running out of steam before she can land a blow. Minor money at best.

MOON OF CAIRO Has some nice stakes runs recently but this is a big step up- particularly as it’s her first run on grass. Being by Deputy Minister out of a Polar Falcon mare, she should handle it but I don’t think she ready for a Grade I yet. Can reach the top five this time but may feature more in her next.
Of the rest. GIDDYUP DIDDIE may prove the biggest threat. She has won a recent Grade I over this distance but is woefully incosistent. If she has a going day she’ll majke the frame. If not she could finish last. PJ TOTAL QUEST is taking a rise in class and a drop in distance. This iss too short and if she has a future at graded level it must surely be at a mile and a half. NOVERRE ALLA COZZE(IRE) , ADAGIO FRAGRANCE and VENOM(GB) are hopelessly out of their depth at this level.

PREDICTION

1/ THE AUS BOSS(AUS) 2/ SPOOKY BALLET 3/ ESTROGEN

[2

post-755","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
