With the actual Belmont Park under revitalization, the real life Belmont Stakes will be held a couple hours north at “The Spa” in Saratoga, New York. No worries as the sim version has been running it at three turns at virtual Belmont Park, which our field of twelve sophomore runners, including a pair of upstart fillies, will negotiate for the $100,000 purse on tap. The winning connections will be feted at the after race celebration and trophy presentation, a usually raucous affair.
.
.
.
Here’s the list of our first ten Belmont winners:
2015 …A SPIN IN PARADISE… jbcri09
2016 …INDY CANDY…………….. harrylan
2017 …PAJ………………………………..ric480
2018 …SERVICE HISTORY……..dontbetonme
2019 …WELL OKAY…………………harrylan
2020 …TAPPIN STREET CAP….harrylan
2021 …DAZZLING CAPTAIN….jbcri09
2022 …CORE OF EVIL…………….jbcri09
2023 …SECRET GEAR…………….amir
2024 …STREETORIAL…………….amir
.
.
.
Amir1605<\/em><\/strong> shoots for the three-peat in this year’s affair; he has a pair of hopefuls with RADIANT GHOST @ 6\/1 odds and LAMBDA OMEGA @ 7\/1 odds, the 3rd and fourth picks of the handicapper.
