Welcome to this very special day here in Arizona. The very first running of the Blazing Saddles Breeders Showdown Turf Mile. This is a stakes race going a flat mile on the firm turf course. We have a field of eight to try for this crown. <\/P>

First we have Very Silver<\/STRONG> winner of eight races and over a million in earnings comes into this race off a nice run with a third place finish with a 104 speed figure and looks to try and take this from off the pace. <\/P>

Next entrant in this field is Gyrocaster<\/STRONG>. He is a four year old that has won ten of twenty-four starts. This entry seems to be primed for a nice run he has won his last to stakes trys and lost in the epsom turf special a grade 3. He ran a top figure of 115. He is 8\/5 on the line.<\/P>

Devil’s Drink<\/STRONG> seems to be in a little over his head but might hang around and fill out a tri and as he is the longest shot on the board. He won his last race and takes a cut back in distance. <\/P>

Rossa’s Secret<\/STRONG> has a great last out race he won with a 110 speed figure. If you think there is a bounce factor then this would be a throw out. He cuts back in distance and will be closing late. He has won four of eight races and has to face older, he broke his maiden against older so it might not be that big of a deal.<\/P>

Silver’s Here<\/STRONG> is a five year old who has won four races and will be trying to hit the board and earn some respect. He has been running high 90’s and had hit 100 twice and will need to improve. We will see if he can out close the field. <\/P>

Coming from post six is a 6\/1 shot that i will give a look to Miss Sullivan<\/STRONG>. She is a three year old filly facing the boys and older at the same time. I like the way she is coming into this race. She has had her best races at a mile and she also seems to beable to sit just off the speed and will look to get out and run. <\/P>

The speed of the speed will come from the seven post. Phantom Tollbooth<\/STRONG> winner of nine races. He is a former claimer that has now gone on and become a stakes winner and has ran a nice 108 speed figure and will be out by 3 or 4 early and try and hold the late rush from the closers. <\/P>

The last entrant in this field is a mile specialist. Skunks Never Bend<\/STRONG> is coming in off a nice easy win at a mile with a 102 and has run that fast before and has seemed to of found his distance as his past three at a mile have been wins and all with 96+ figures.<\/P>

This is a race full of nice horses and it will be a race that will be had to find the winner i will look to the filly Miss Sullivan to win, Phantom Tollbooth to place, and Skunks Never Bend to show.<\/STRONG><\/P>
