This is the Senior Robin Cap Stakes over a mile 1\/8 on what has been rated as a fast dirt track.\u00a0 There is a purse of $60,000 for this one so 9 entries 3yo and up have been entered to try and grab that prize money for themselves.\u00a0 And for their trainer. \ud83d\ude42<\/P>
The Stakes race today is named after Senior Robin who is out of Known Fact x Halo x Torsion.\u00a0 Known fact produced a few Group winners and Senior Robin was no slouch running 80 races for 6 wins with all of those wins on the dirt.\u00a0 80 races is a good career for a horse and Senior Robin is honoured here today with the naming of the Stakes race.<\/P>

1 SQUAL ME HALO<\/STRONG> <\/P> Owner: binzaman A 6yo here out of Summer Squall x Septieme Ciel x Halo with a very impressive career record.\u00a0 16 wins and earnings over $2M bucks. This is a class horse coming to the end of his career but still running well.\u00a0 His most recent win was in mid September over 10 furlongs in an Allowance race posting a speed of 107. Last time out was slower and finished 6th and well back in the Stupidly For Ralph Memorial stakes.\u00a0 Can he get his speed and form that he can produce back for this one? Owner: best2run Out of Jade Hunter x Golden Missile x Danzig Connection which you can see where he gets his name from.\u00a0 4yo Colt who is quite consistent certainly early in his career.\u00a0 Bit out of sorts of late where he has run a good race then failed the next time out.\u00a0 Last win was in the Baylee’s Dream Bonanza Stakes over 9 furlongs and a speed of 109.\u00a0 He did fail last time out as I mentioned earlier so this one could be another good run going on his previous form which is up and down. If he’s on tune will figure in the final three. Owner: gus This one looks very very good specially on an off track. 5 outings on an off track with never finishing worse than second. Id keep him on the off tracks always with that record.\u00a0 Regardless this is not an off track so you have to consider how he will go. Last time out was a very good run in the G3 Trying To Take The Next Step over 9 furlongs where he was looking for more distance and finishing strongly.\u00a0 Crossed in fourth place.\u00a0 Likes to come from behind so if he starts his run early can figure here. Owner: crown Out of Dixiland Band x Unbridled x Avatar has been posting some very good speeds of late including a top speed of 112 in the Explosive Fortress(IRE) Cap Stakes over 9 furlongs which resulted in a very good win for him. Needs to get to the front around the middle of the race to have any chance and then go on with it from there.\u00a0\u00a0 This is another one who has performed impeccably in the wet with 4 wins from 5 outings on an off track.\u00a0 Id definitely be looking for those races for him from now on with that impressive record. Owner: invisible From Charismatic x Wild Again x Alydar has been running well lately.\u00a0 Very consistent in his last three races with 1 win and 2 second places all at Allowance level.\u00a0 This is a step up here though.\u00a0 Last Stakes race and in fact his only Stakes race run to date was in the Bingo Hogan(IRE) Memorial over 9.5 furlongs where finished fifth with a speed of 106.\u00a0 Distance no problem just the class might be… Owner: splitenz Long shot of the race at 10\/1 is from Dubai Destination x Cat Thief x Strike Gold. Has not run in a Stakes race recently. Last run at this level was way back in August of 2007 where he finished 7th over 7 furlongs.\u00a0 However in saying that has been performing consistently at Allowance level and is coming off a win over 9 furlongs and a speed of 104.\u00a0 Probably deserves his chance again at this level and will need to perform today.\u00a0 <\/P> 7 PERFECT POWER(IRE)<\/STRONG>\u00a0 <\/P> Owner: dshock There are a few things in life which CAN guarantee you success. Prior run though was a beauty over 9.5 furlongs in the G1 Gracie Law Distaff, speed of 106 and winning by over 2 lengths. Reproduce that run here and could be up there and winning.
