This is the second career win for the young filly in her five starts, and she is now one for one in stakes competition. The victory takes her career earnings $60350 mark. The stakes victory also puts her on the board in the Juvenile Filly Sprint division, cracking into the top 100 at a 97 ranking. With the low odds and the oddsmakers picking thing right down the line this week, there was no joy at the betting windows, with the winning tickets barely paying for the paper they were printed on. The winner paid $4.00 $2.30 $2.10 across the board. The exotics were poor, with the exacta paying $4.90 and a meager $7.40 payout in the trifecta.

A somewhat unexpected break in this one, as Sold Out(FR) started a bit slower than normal and Moon Rover(JPN) a bit faster, leading to a early speed duel. Sold Out(FR) managed to get out front, but Moon Rover(JPN) wasn’t giving her any room, pressing her closely right up to the halfway mark. Sold Out(FR) held a quarter length lead at the half, but that wasn’t nearly enough, as Moon Rover(JPN) surged past as they crossed the mark, taking control of the pace. She built up the cushion that Sold Out(FR) was hoping for in the first half, owning a two and a quarter length lead as they passed the third call and headed for home. It looked like she was going to cruise home, but Mushy Kirby(IRE) wasn’t going to go down easy, closing nearly three length down the stretch to threaten, but in the end it was Moon Rover(JPN) crossing the line a head in front, staving off the challenge to claim a victory by a head. Sold Out(FR) held on for third place, six and three quarters out at the wire.

[3

post-6724","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reviews
["GET
