The punters, and for that matter the books are unable to
pin point a clear favorite, It promises to be an open affair.

My predictions are: 13/9, 14/4,5,7,1,3

#1 IT’S ALL YELLOW (15/1) is a 3yo Colt by Mr. Sinatra with a 11/6-0-0 record.
A multiple stakes winner and has been prepared well by the trainer. This colt is
in career best form, impressive win in a 6Furlong Stakes with #102. He steps up
today for his maiden Graded race (G2) and will need to improve to beat some of
his foes today.
“Will run on the pace, and try to run’em down at the end. Best of the double
figure roughies, could be the smokey of the field!!”

#2 FINAL THOUGHTS (6/1) is a 3yo Colt by Wild Again with a 13/7-0-3 record.
This horse is a multiple grade winner, and like so many in this race, is in
career best form. In his last start an impressive 3rd over 7F, running #106.
Drops back in distance and class this start. Is the one to beat.
“Should be in the leading group and no doubt he will pounce come the last few
furlongs. Win, loose or draw he will not leave you wondering if only.”

#3 HATTORi HONZO (7/1) is a 3yo Colt by Fusaichi Pegasus with a 13/3-2-2 record.
This colt has been there done that. He’s won listed races over 9furlongs and
even contest a G1 at 10 furlongs, and last start he even clocked a speed of #104
over 6.5furlongs. After saying all that he is an unknown quantity over
6furlongs, I’m not sure what his owner is doing trailing him over 6furlongs, but
who am I to judge, after all last start first time over 6.5furlongs he almost
added a Grade 2 listed race to his record.
“A classy colt over all distance, don’t be surprise if he’s first post the
post!”

#4 HAZEL NUT (12/1) is a 3yo Colt by Dubai Mazel Trick with a 19/3-6-2 record.
Has recaptured career best form. Last start come home will a solid speed of #102
over 7.5furlongs. This horse looks to be out of his league, and probably more
suited over 7+ furlongs.
“Has found some form of late, but might be out classed, but certainly won’t be
disgraced. If the leads are found wanting near the end, watch out for the fast
finishing HAZEL NUT!!!”

#5 MSOOZITUDE (9/1) is a 3yo Colt by Monashee Mountain(IRE) with a 15/7-1-2
record. A consistent colt over this journey. Two starts back ran an impressive
speed of #106 over 6.5furlongs. This colt is right in this race with a major
chance. If he is half a length or so of the lead going into the final furlong
should win, looms as a genuine contender. “A consistent horse, will take some
beating!!”

#6 MOUNTAIN TED (30/1) is a 3yo Colt by Aptitude with a 15/4-0-4 record.
Probably not ready for a Grade listed race. In its last 3 Grade runs was out
classed, unable to break the #100 mark. Will need to produce something special
if it’s to feature in this race. “This horse will be ridden for luck…and we all
know luck is a fortune!!”

#7 MINE BLUFF (16/1) is a 3yo Colt by Mineshaft with a 19/6-3-2 record. Slowly
finding his way back after a career threatening fall 4 starts back in The
Vanilla Ant Stakes. Found some form clocking a #104 over 6.5Furlongs, if it
continues like this is looms as a major threat. “All though one of the roughies,
he’s not out of this one. An impressive back marker, who looms as a threat!!”

#8 AFLUCK (8/1) is a 3yo colt by Afleet with a 18/5-6-3 record. This colt looms
as a major threat! His consistence has been eye catching, running no less than
#101 in his last 4 starts. Beware it will motor home over the last 2 furlongs.
“Has come of age and is set to bounce in this race, will be in the money!”

#9 FREEDOM HALL (7/1) is a 3yo colt by Statue of Liberty with a 16/7-6-0 record.
Well named colt that oozes class. This horse is the real deal, shapes up in my
opinion as the favorite. It’s hard to go past two starts back, clocked an
impressive speed of #108 over 6.5furlongs.
“A Natural born leader in my ways than one, should take the lead and if he does
there is no stopping him, Will take a major effort to get beat!!”

#10 ANCIENT WORLD (10/1) is a 3yo colt by Silver Ghost with a 13/10-2-1 record.
Ancient World brings an impressive resume to this race, pure class. He has
answered all challengers to date. Last start he won a Group 1 race over 6
furlongs, with speed of #105. With his inclusion it makes this race virtually
impossible to predict a winner.
“Rarely is this champion disgraced, looks fresh and should be one of the
favorites to win, or at least retain his prefect record of 13/10-2-1!!!”

#11 WONDERBOY DJ (13/1) is a 3yo colt by Carson City with a 11/4-4-0 record.
Last start winner over 6furlongs with speed #104. This race is a major step up
in class for this horse, will need to run a race to remember to be first past
the post.
“Worth considering, an honest horse who has hit a purple patch will go for the
lead early!!”

#12 URKO’S LIGHTNING (20/1) is a 3yo colt by Festival of Light with a 18/5-1-5
record. Urko’s Lightning will need to do something dramatic to win. Has not gone
over #100 in his past 8 starts. If he wins there will definitely be a need to
swap this colt, but I don’t see the need for the whistle boy (swapper).
“Well out classed, will need to run a personal best to be in the money!!”

#13 LOOKING FOR MORE (6/1) is a 3yo colt by Brahms with a 12/8-2-0 record. Looks
to have found career best form of late. Last start an impressive run, won over
6.5 furlongs, clocked a speed of #105 over this distance. Is proven at this
class and distance. Has shown enough to warrant favoritism.
“A genuine stayer, will settle back in the field and motor home, should finish
strongly!!”

#14 RATCITY IN BLUE (9/1) is a 3yo colt by Pulpit with a 10/4-3-1 record. Like
so many in this race hasn’t run into career best form. Two starts back he ran an
impressive 2nd over 7 furlongs with speed #108, and then followed this up with a
3rd over 6furlongs. He will need to run a smart race to win. His trend suggests
he is a genuine threat.
” Don’t discard this horse’s chance, an unpredictable horse, capably of sitting
of the leader and running home over the top!!!”

[2

post-669","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
