Stable Transfers Abound Auction – 3714 – <\/SPAN><\/B>This week we had a few horses sell for over a million dollars, we had a few million dollar stable transfers, and we had four of the 30 senior horses (8 YO and up) sell for more than $1.00.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The top seller of that group was an 8 YO brown mare named Hermit Jessie<\/B> # 78561.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Jessie is by Pyramus and out of a Sharrood mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Naracing<\/I><\/B> consigned this fine looking individual and Minski3<\/I><\/B> paid $24,555 for her.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I can’t imagine what they are going to do with her but I did hear talk of some jump jockey turned trainer that was looking for big older horses.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Speaking of older horses\u2026. When I finally got to my table with Refinement<\/I><\/B>, I was surprised to see Ruidowns<\/I><\/B> running down Elkchase.<\/I><\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I love Ruidoso (the town) and since it is way up in the mountains I suppose that there are elk – maybe it is a local past time – chasing elk\u2026..\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I had a nice visit with Roofusdoo<\/I><\/B> and Dodoben<\/I><\/B> who were at the table to my left and spent some time with Cbchief<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I was trying to find out if he was chief of the Cb group that was around a few years back but I didn’t learn a thing.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Leechy<\/I><\/B> and Russrob<\/I><\/B> came by we discussed the merits of synthetic tracks vs. dirt tracks until the sale was over which will lead us to the top selling horses this week. The Millionaires: There were five horses that sold for over a million dollars this week but three of them were stable transfers.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The top seller was Brutal <\/B>#148300 a 4 YO dark brown colt.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Brutal was sired by AP Indy and was out of a Kris S mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Lenny17<\/I> <\/B>consigned this lightly raced (only 12 starts) three time winner.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A solid allowance colt he might move up with seasoning and Sdmf8<\/I> <\/B>is certainly hoping so and paid $3,620,003.00 for him. Hip number 71919 Shadowy Muff<\/B> took reserve sale honors, selling for $3,300,001.
