The  Florida Racing Club<\/a> (FRC) would like to thank everyone that participated in the contest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contest has ended and the results are in! It was an exciting finish with several horses logging their final race on the last day of the contest. Out of 28 contestants, we had one dq due to a HOT race and 27 horses scored some cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without further ado… here are the winners!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the main prize pool:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

FOLDED MOTH<\/a><\/strong> was able to hang on to his lead to be the victor of the contest with winnings of $80,975. The owner (bobthehat) achieved this victory with all local bred dirt races. After debuting with a 3rd place finish, FOLDED MOTH picked up a maiden win two months later with its second race. From there, it went on to small field local allowance races, and in the last two was able to make a 100 speed number in competitive races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming in second (also owned by bobthehat), A HAZY ORCHARD<\/a><\/strong> stepped into 2nd place with winnings of $76,885, after being ranked in the 3rd spot in the february update. Using a similar strategy of all local races, this contestant had a poor showing in the poly debut, but won three out of the next four races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming in third place (and also winner of the top filly prize is owned by waremblem5), SARAH DARLING<\/a><\/strong> was exclusively raced on local turf races after winning her turf debut with winnings of $62,375.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the scratch bred prize pool<\/strong> (we expanded the credits awarded from 2 places to 4 due to the high turnout):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FOLDED MOTH and A HAZY ORCHARD finished in the top two spots for scratch breds. GUNNEFEVRE<\/a><\/strong> came in the third spot (owned by dingo333), this filly focused on dirt races in KY after her debut win.  FAST BEACH ZIP<\/a><\/strong> finished fourth (owned by crocadillo). After a tough poly debut this colt focused on small field turf allowance races around the globe and had his first win in his 5th race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks again to all that participated! There were some nicely bred horses and some nice performers to come out of the contest. We look forward to seeing what they achieve in the future!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
