Welcome to the Polar Bear Cup, 1 of 12 races on the card here in Sweden and the 5th<\/sup> Leg of 6 in the Euro Series of 2023. The Series will conclude in Belgium in November so be sure to tune in there as well.  We will be having 9 starters here on a Firm Turf course this afternoon and look forward to a real battle here today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winner of this race last year and back to defend the title.  Has jockey Jacobsson back in the saddle and looks to be up in the pace ready to pounce at the top of the stretch.  The veteran in the field by age and races is hoping for magic again in what could be a sharp decline after this season as he has no wins and pair of 4th<\/sup> in some STK races this year so far.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How ever all starts were a mile distance, the positive is he likes to set the pace so shortening up can only help.  Jockey Drosos comes back after a year absence where is pulled out 2nd<\/sup> on this one.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most wins in the field and local SAF champion looks to test 7F for the first time.  Has been here since late Aug after a 3rd<\/sup> in Gr III Green Turban.  Trainer Tees has been putting him through some solid works to get him used to a possible different attack\/conditioning with so much speed in here and the added distance he\u2019s not used too.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
