Top half probable, but will take a bigger race for more.

2

A.P. SADLER

This one’s two races have each been breathtaking, and the step up in class here wouldn’t seem to be a huge worry. And on top of everything else, she should love the pace. If she stays out of trouble, 7/1 sounds like a great price.

3

STARDOM’S PROSPECT

Hasn’t won above allowance level, but still obviously young enough to improve. Still probably outclassed here for now.

4

DIRECTOR RAIDER

Much like the horse just above, this one seems more than a bit outgunned. The difference here is the odds reflect it. Hasn’t shown ability so far to beat this class of filly.

5

ELUSIVE INFINITY

Interesting filly. Has shown the same disturbing tendency to be caught late in both short and route races. Big improvement LTO, and if she learns how to rate, AND improves again, she might be worth a nice saver here.

6

MEDAGLIA DANCER

Another box-car price that has some possibility. Can stalk/close, but her one Graded race so far was a disappointment. Was it the distance, or the class? Still eligible for improvement though.

7

RED CITIZEN

Class a big issue here. LTO a huge improvement, and if the speed comes up improved again, can open up more than a few eyes. Another problem will be the up front speed.

8

ROSETTE

Another much like Red Citizen, but with a bit more proven class and more reasonable odds. Huge improvement LTO, but also has pace issues. There could be a lot of pace-pressing..

9

WINNING SEASON

Nice stalking win LTO in an ungraded stakes in her first route. Definitely a threat to run down the leaders with a clean run. Has the speed fig ability to run with these.

10

A OK RAIDER

Great running style for this race, impressively hard-charging 2nd LTO. Was it the increased distance, or the off-track? A repeat performance on a fast course will cash this girl a check.

11

CYNIC

Nice hard-fought win LTO for this girl, but she’s never faced anything like this competition. Probably too many questions about class just yet.

12

SIOUX CITY

She’s back on her best surface and distance, but the speed she’ll be facing will probably burn her out. Class issues perhaps.

13

JUNGLE MIESQUE TOS

Another fine value play at 12/1, at least on paper. IF she can rate. Her form is still improving, and if she runs the stalking race she’s capable of, she might run up that gaudy record here (6 wins in 7 starts).

14

AVENGER’S STUPOR

A closer who’ll have to show a lot more for her to run with these girls. But 2 yr olds with 4 total races can do that.

15

BLESSED WITH BETH(IRE)

Nothing so far to show anywhere near the speed or class for these girls yet. Will have to have a huge improvement for a check.

16

TRIGGER’S GIRL G

Improving form, her best race to date was at this distance, but class and speed will probably still be impediments. Not this time.

17

YOU CANT CATCH ME

Decent but not eye-popping speeds so far, and a tendency to stay too close to the lead, at least for this bunch. I’m thinking that they CAN catch her.

18

GROOMED TO ROMP T

Exceptional speeds last three times out, but only one win to show out of it, and this will be her first time at anything longer than 6.5 f. If she has anything left down the stretch, she certainly has the ability to contend.

19

MALARIA

Very nice MSW win only other time out, but way too many questions for this field. Will answer a whole bunch of them with this race.

20

SMOKIN LOIS

Nice improving form, great closing style, gaudy numbers, excellent jock. Only two questions: traffic for a closer in a 20 horse race, and this is the first route for the daughter of a confirmed sprinter.

[2

post-630","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
