This is the Grade 1 Smackdown Dirt Mile for three year olds and a purse of one Million dollars. We have a huge field of eighteen trying to get the money so lets get right to the field.

CAT CHARM TED(JPN) races from the ted barn a winner last out in the G3 Hollywood Knights Classic with a nice 106sf and seems to be improving. I think he might be up against it in here, I also think he might bounce.

TIZ LISTLESS(KY) running here for trainer mtready. This entry seems to have found where he belongs in his last race putting up a 103sf at this mile distance after running under 95 in all of his pervious starts. Should be your early leader.

SNARKY REMARK(IRE) trained by looneylopo makes his first start sence his bad performance in the Gr simsters Belmont. He was running well till he hit the Bluegrass Derby. Seems to like the mile and a sixteenth distance we will have to wait and see if a mile is to short. Will be well back early.

TRADING JACK(KY) this simsters4 entry has won at a mile and put up a 109sf at a mile and a sixteenth. Went back to sprinting in his last out and should be set up nicely in here.

FLYING BRYAN(KY) makes the start for ascot ran a 100sf last time at this distance. He also is coming in off a mile and a quarter race cutting back to a mile might be just what this horse needs to take home the winners share. Should be mid pack.

SWIFTSURE(KY) is coming in to the race off a great listed stakes win with a 107sf for trainer sanchez. He should be second or third early and be hanging around late. Last time at a mile he ran a 108sf over a good dirt course might be faster over the fast track. One to watch.

SISSON’S GERMAN(GER) might be a little out classed in this race but who can blame binzaman02 for taking a shot in here off of his last race. He won like a good thing in a listed stakes event but it was only six and a half and not a mile. This will be his first try going a route of ground we shall see if he can handle it. From the back

URBAN STORM CAT(KY) triscay is cutting this entry back to a mile for this contest after a bad run in the New Yorker. Has a win and a second place finish at a mile. He should be running on late. His is a graded winner and has posted three triple digit speed figures in his resent races.

BUDGET DAY(KY) Hollofly brings this entry in off a eight and a half length beating in the Hollywood Knights Classic. In his start before that he ran a good effort in the G3 Barbara Walters Special at a mile with a 106sf will be dangerous if he can return to that race.

HELD TWO RANSOM(KY) Marineboy brings this entrant in off a pair of wins and a pair of 105sf. Last out was in the G2 Trial By Night Stakes. There is only one real question with this horse and that is will he go up or will he go down. I think he will improve some and will be hanging around late.

SEATTLE MAMBO(KY) bicuspid brings this horse in off a pair of wins but both were sprinting. I think this distance will be his downfall as he has five starts and only one win going a route of ground. Should be close early.

WORLD WOLF(KY) the last win for this graywolf2 entry was going five furlongs and has been sprinting in every start since. I do not see this one making a splash in here with eight starts going long and only a second place finish. Will be laying mid pack.

SUNSET MESA(KY) is making his first start since the middle jewel stakes for trainer twoofus. Winner of the Florida Derby and second in the Bluegrass Derby with 105 and a 103sf will be cutting back to a mile. This race might be to short for this entry but did fun a 100sf at seven furlongs. Will be with in four of the front.

WIRELESS EAVESDROP(KY) econ brings this one back after running in the first two legs of the triple crown. Last time at this mile distance ran lights out with a 106sf and a stakes win. This entry will be mid pack if he is farther back than that it will be a long day for econ then.

JESUS WALKS(KY) enters here the favorite for conditioner milesius. After his G1 second place finish in the Cosmopolitan Handicap in his first try against older he put up the best speed figure in this field a 114sf and that is why he is the favorite. The question is how much did the slop play in to that?

CHANGE OF SCENERY(IRE) is looking to find the winners circle for trainer foxon4. Winner of the Bluegrass Derby Trial Stakes G3 with a 107sf at today’s distance. Looks to rebound off of the sloppy race last out. Cuts back in distance and gets a fast track to play with. Should be second early.

FLEET DAISY(KY) ran in all three triple crown races for opus. Cuts back from twelve to eight panels. Has not run this short this year last time at this distance was a second place finish in the G1 world cup juvenile colt mile. Should be mid pack.

WOLF’S SLAM(JPN) graywolf4 brings this entry in off a pair of wins going seven eights with a nice 111sf. Looking at his last race I think that the distance might be to far for him to carry his speed. Will be close early.

That is this huge field there is money to be made even if you like the favorite in here.

My Picks:…….Throws darts
1.CAT CHARM TED(JPN)
2.CHANGE OF SCENERY(IRE)
3.JESUS WALKS(KY)

[2

post-6240","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
