I thought it would be nice to do a short article about stable management. It occurred to me that what I have been doing is breeding a lot of horses and putting those horses in stables with my veteran BP earners. I had not been utilizing stable transferring as I should. So here are some helpful hints to maximizing your BP output from select stables. <\/P>
Remember un-raced babies can be transferred to any stable. This means after we breed a horse from an earning stable, we can then go and transfer the new horse to another one of our stables. It makes sense to transfer all our babies to stables full of other babies. By doing this we can then go and fill their vacancies with another sure fire BP earner from the auction or claiming races. If say we leave three babies in a stable with seven solid BP earners, then we have three new runners that may not contribute to earning the BP\u2019s we are looking to earn for that stable. By putting all our babies in the same stables we can ensure that our other stables are producing BP\u2019s at maximum output. The babies then in turn have time to develop in other stables. <\/P> The new horse stables will then start earning some BP\u2019s hopefully, and create the foundation for next years BP earning stable. Now you can take your time without rushing your babies off to claims. You won\u2019t be hampering your earning stables while waiting for two year old horses to develop. <\/P> Remember your earning stables should be full of horses that can win races. They can be the lowest claimers, allowance runners, or stakes runners, but they should be BP earners. This means you should evaluate your runners carefully to decide which class each runners should run in. The most common mistake is often running claimer horses in allowance races. This often takes an amount of discipline, but that discipline will pay off. Check those entries before closing to see if your horses can win. If they are not sure fire favorites, scratch them and look for a softer field. Often you will have to drop them into lower claims to succeed. Remember you want your earning stables to generate a lot of BP\u2019s. Those are the stables you will be breeding your following season\u2019s crop from. <\/P> Keep in mind while breeding it may be best to spend your BP\u2019s on the more elite breeds, as credits for bluebloods can be expensive. One approach I like is too save BP\u2019s for my top shelf breeds, and use credits to purchase lower cost bargain horses. Ultimately BP\u2019s have the most purchasing power, so BP earning stables are extremely important. One thing you should always consider is the claiming price of a horse. Claim too many expensive horses and your BP\u2019s will take a major hit. Claim a nice 2k horse and you will quickly recoup the investment. <\/P> Ultimately the sim can be played however you wish to play it. After all the goal is too have fun, so enjoy the sim how you best enjoy it. Hopefully this article gives you all something to chew on.
