Vermont<\/st1:place><\/st1:State> is featuring a wide-open marathon contest this weekend:\u00a0 <\/SPAN>the Firey Car Challenge, a 14-furlong affair on the dirt.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It\u2019s pretty much anyone\u2019s race, with the longest shot of all going off at 7\/1.<\/P>

Frozen Reality<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Bulletday9<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>5\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Came Home colt has had good success in these longer races, finishing a strong \u00a0\u00a0<\/SPAN>second in his last two. Has a good shot at doing well here, despite a less-than-stellar jockey.<\/P>

Sinanju<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Frosty<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>7\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>3yo won handily at 12 furlongs last time out, though it was against a very small field.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Impressive lately at 9.5 furlongs, this race will be an excellent test of his long-distance capability.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Still has some questions to answer about how well he\u2019ll do going this long against a decent field, but it looks like he has a decent chance at excelling.<\/P>

Elkano<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Zelamy<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>3\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The other cofavorite seems to be slowing down a few steps of late, but is still capable of a big race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Just ran two weeks ago, but that race was bad enough that it may not have taken much out of him.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Suspect he\u2019ll run brilliantly or awfully.<\/P>

Debee Furniture<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Inzy5<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>5\/1 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>6yo picks up paychecks regularly in races like this one, though he rarely runs a great race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Consistent plugger is likely to do his usual routine and earn his hay for the week.<\/P>

Tiz the Key to Win<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Dougiec<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>6\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has been pretty far back lately when going 12+ furlongs (though he\u2019s done better in the past).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A very big race could have him doing well, but I\u2019d expect a more mediocre effort.<\/P>
