Percy: ‘Well Haack, you must be absolutely thrilled with today’s win, were you surprised that he was so close to the league today?’

Haack: With heavy Spanish Accent, ‘I first would like to thank my friends Latino del mundo, today was very hard because we had the wide gate, so I wasn’t able to get to the fence, but we were able to hang in and he was just proved too strong right at the end. it was a very funny race because there was no pace I did expect a little bit more but it seemed all the jockeys were holding back. fortunately, my boy was too strong today’.

Our other roving reporter the DUR Dingo, Caught up with trainer Lenny for a quick word about the effort and performance of Wash Rinse Repeat.

Dingo:‘So Lenny your boy was very courageous in defeat today, How do you feel?

Lenny ‘I have to be honest I’m really devastated that he wasn’t able to get it done today, as victory would have ensured his legacy by gaining entry into the Hall of Fame. But honestly, I can’t complain because he ran his heart out and was beaten by a better horse on the day, Thank you.’

Dingo: ‘I now send you back to Percy from Preston, who has MTK to discuss Popping Champagne’s if it in running 3rd.

Percy: ‘So MTK, will you expecting I run as good as what you got from Popping Champagne, given that he was coming out of a restricted allowance last start?

MTK ‘well to be honest, today’s race was a bit of an experiment, he has been running well but this truly exceeded my expectations, I couldn’t be happier.

Percy: ‘That’s it for today folks, we can now look forward to the coverage of next week’s Victoria Cup, What a great Day for Haack winning The New Market aboard Bon Bon Bum,’
