Everything went according to plan for Renegade Rider as he went wire to wire in the $85k Walther Luck Stakes at Florida to land his sixth straight victory.<\/SPAN><\/P> \u00a0 Having bounced out of the gates, the favourite was allowed an uncontested early lead and was 7+ lengths clear rounding the home turn. Jockey L. Butcha was looking about for dangers down the stretch but he would have needed a pair of binoculars to spot them. Eased down towards the line, Renegade Rider<\/STRONG> finished 3l clear of his nearest pursuer.<\/SPAN><\/P> \u00a0 That pursuer was second favourite and most likely threat to the winner Dwell On It<\/STRONG>. He raced towards the rear of the field and gradually began to make a move from the halfway point but by the time he was in top flight the winner had gone. Flagdown2\u2019s charge made up lots of ground down the final stretch but was probably flattered by his proximity to the comfortable winner.<\/SPAN><\/P> \u00a0 The third horse Important Raider<\/STRONG>, claimed for his current stable for just $10k, was far from disgraced having his first attempt at this level. He was unable to keep up with the quick early pace but was staying on well at the end and this result must have pleased his trainer. He could be worth a try over a bit longer in the future.<\/SPAN><\/P> \u00a0 Crunchbox<\/STRONG> was the disappointment of the race and he is starting to look frustrating for his owner Sdmf. He probably needs a drop in class to try and get some of his confidence back because he is a horse that definitely has some ability, although he is hiding it well at the moment.<\/SPAN><\/P> \u00a0 It remains to be seen where the winner of this race will go next but he is still a relatively lightly raced, young horse and he has lots of options open to him.
