Marathoners will be going at it in Florida<\/st1:place><\/st1:State> this weekend in the Only Bow Challenge, a gruelling 13-furlong affair on the dirt for all comers three and up.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Seven horses have accepted the challenge.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

Smart Nijinsky<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Vokey<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>7\/2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>4yo son of Smart Strike has found an unusually tough field in this long-distance event.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A horse with lots of early turn of foot, he has won his last two stakes.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Would need to go a bit faster than usual to take this one, but he\u2019s a proven horse with an awesome jockey aboard.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Almost certain to get a piece of the action, though I have doubts about his ability to win this time.<\/P>

Domitian<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Lenasdream<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>99\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A maiden whose best speed fig in 13 starts is a 69, she just doesn\u2019t belong here.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s never gone this long on the dirt before, but there\u2019s just no reason to believe she\u2019d perk up anywhere near enough.<\/P>

Perfect Motion<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Lizbizkit<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>3\/5\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Heavy favorite, but he\u2019s more of a miler. A nice consistent horse at shorter distances, he\u2019s flopped enough times at 12 furlongs for me to write him off in this race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Nice colt, but I don\u2019t expect this to be his best day. <\/P>

Communal Tuner<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Ottox<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>11\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Consistent plugger who usually hits the board in allowance fields.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This is a step up for him, but he could still hit the board with a big race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Jock is pretty lousy, though.<\/P>

Fragrant Son<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Kevoman4<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>8\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>My favorite and a bargain at 8\/1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>3yo has won his last three races, all 12-furlong stakes.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This is his first race against his elders, but there is every indication that he should be able to handle them.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Can win from on or slightly off the lead and has a skilled jock to help him find just the right position.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

One Bad Boy<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Qwikvett1<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>9\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Does okay in allowances at this distance, but is taking a step up here and that may prove to be too much for him.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A useful horse who may still pick up a paycheck, but he\u2019s outclassed by the best here.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

Enter the Beast<\/B>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Qwikvett1<\/I>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>5\/1\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Bred to go long, this race may actually be a bit short for this guy.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>His most impressive races have been at 16 furlongs, a hard distance to find on the card.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Does decently at 13 furlongs, but I don\u2019t expect a win out of\u00a0 <\/SPAN>him.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>One of several who could take second or third. Will benefit from a very good jockey.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>
