Jones made it look easy ran away from the field mid race and enabled him to gain her 4th victory in 12 tries. Jones was actually criticized for easing up a bit early in the stretch to allow other horses to get too close but “ADJAL” gained momentum again and put them away. As I mentioned in my preview, this horse moved to the Tees Stables at the beginning of this year and by working under the hands of trainer Racer, this colt has really increased his SPFs and has finished in the money now in four straight Stakes outings. He has become more of a front runner during that transition and it sure looks as if that is how he likes it. I mentioned that I wasn’t sure that this colt was ready for this level but looked to be gaining ground. He has shown in spades that he is more than ready! He now has over $400k in earnings lifetime and it looks like he is just hitting his stride. He ran his fastest race with a nice 101+ SPF and now has his first Stakes win and it was a big one. He improved his rank to number four in the three year old turf long class.
Our winner moved down inside quickly taking the early lead followed closely by both PURE OIL and MOON OF QUEENSLAND . Neither of these colts could hold up to the fast pace and dropped way down at the finish. No one else challenged at all during the race until both FRANKLIN TERRACE and SOUTH OF HEAVEN put up a late charge in the stretch after Jones had backed SILENT AJDAL down a bit and they finished second and third respectively.
It is still a long season but it sure looks like SILENT AJDAL is going to be in the mix this year in the three year old long turf ranks and Tees Stable has to be overjoyed that he has joined their stables.
Good luck to all runners!
Email your comments to pazjazz.btb@gmail.comI love to hear from you!

[3

post-5967","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reviews
["GET
