The step up to a mile in The Grade Two Camel Juvenile<\/I> this weekend turned out to be just what Half A World Away<\/B>, trained by foxvbullet<\/B>, needed to pick up the winning thread again and add a Grade Two win to his victories. Now the winner of four of his six races, which also includes two at Grade Three, the son of Belong To Me has risen to first place in the two-year-old dirt classic rankings thanks to this win.
He made all the running under S L Ledwith, with the outsider Dandadite(IRE)<\/B> and Mr. Tiger Bro(AUS)<\/B> heading the chasing pack. The winner had a significant lead by the half-way point and was going away from the field, until in the home straight two challengers came out of the pack in the form of Heaven\u2019s Door<\/B> and Virtuoso<\/B>. The latter, partnered by T. Tippett, finished faster than anyone, coming from plum last to take second place two lengths behind the winner, while Heaven\u2019s Door, the mount of Q. Cassell, came from the rear of mid-division to finish third.
