Field of Seven to Start this Saturday in the Tout Ou Rien Stakes, to be run over 9.5f on the Fast Dirt Course. Of the seven all of which have at least five wins for a change, no nw4l eligible horses \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
First up is #1 CORNFIELD COUNTY at 9\/2, geewhiz’s Dark Grey horse has struggled in his last two, but did win at the distance in a stakes prior to that with a SP111. Winner of over three quarters of a million, including multiple graded races, still has a reasonable shot against this field.<\/p>\n
#2 PT’S CLEVER CAT(FR) 5\/1 is coming into the race in excellence form reeling off three straight victories. Two of which were allowances, before a stakes last time out. This strong closer trainer by theodore10 will have his work cut out as there isn’t much speed in the race to run after.<\/p>\n
#3 MY BLUE HEAVEN 8\/1 had ran in 18 straight 1 1\/2 or longer races before shortening up last time out to an allowance at 8.5f on the good dirt, and running a career best SP110. Was it the shorter distance or the off track??? I’m guessing the distance, and with a lack of speed he should find himself out front and could hang on for the upset.<\/p>\n
#4 EMILY’S BEST 9\/2 just beat My Blue Heaven the 8.5f allowance, earning a SP114 and is coming into the race in great form. Another Closer that may fall to far back early, does seem to like the Vermont track with three top two’s here.<\/p>\n
#5 INTERGALACTIC 2\/1 The favorite trained by eddie72 is clearly the choice here, he’s been strictly against graded company since 2007, including a G1 win at the distance in July with a SP113, last time out he wasn’t much of a factor in a G2 at the distance but did post a Solid SP109. And back in 2006 he ran 2nd in the Middle Jewel! Easily the best, possible using the race as a prep for a bigger race down the line?<\/p>\n
#6 CHATTY DANCER 10\/1 is the longshot in the field. He hasn’t been a factor in his last three, but did wire an allowance field four back with a SP108. Not much speed and if he gets lead over My Blue Heaven he could provide the upset win. Out of Red Ransom I’d be interested to see how he fairs on the turf if given the chance.<\/p>\n
#7 BASH TO BITS(IRE) 9\/2 completes our field; the four year old is coming off a stakes 2nd here at Vermont at 1 1\/2 miles with a SP107, and has been consistence in the money (6 of the last 8). Tends to close from the back, but last time out proved versatile sitting just a couple lengths off the lead in a great stalking spot. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
