Auction – 3511:<\/SPAN><\/B> \u00a0<\/SPAN>Well, hold on to your hats as the roller coaster ride continues.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Fifteen horses sold for more than a million with the top three horses being stable transfers.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The Dawg Pound took the honors in this category, transferring several.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Now that the wedding is over he’s back at work organizing his stables for the coming year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>There were less horses for sale, more two year olds being offered and best of all, less horses ending up in the computer pen.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That will about sum up this week’s action.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The senior citizens did well with eight horses, nine and up, selling for over a $1.00 and one even sold for $10,000.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Action Seen:\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/B>Ok, Ok – I am not going to talk about the weather here in <\/SPAN>Kentucky<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> as it is spring by the calendar if not by the vernal equinox.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>By definition that means that the weather will be all over the place as winter tries to hang on and one can see summer in the future.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>My table was waiting, the fire was lit and there was a big bouquet of red roses on it.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I thought it must be some mistake and looked around for Barndog<\/I><\/B> and Ladysierra<\/I><\/B> but while B’dog was here they weren’t for him and I don’t think they were left over from the wedding.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Hmmmm, I must have a secret admirer.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I wonder who it could be.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I am expecting a package from Pazjazz<\/I><\/B> but it will be full of sno-globes and not roses.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Well, no matter.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I like roses and they were quite cheery – besides I received numerous compliments.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Theoldguy<\/I><\/B> stopped by with Mysonjoe<\/I><\/B> and Brothertom<\/I><\/B> and we had a nice visit.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>They asked when my mares were due to foal and I told them next week as all three are due within days of each other.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Hope I can make it here next week.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Dodoben<\/I><\/B> stopped by to tell us there was a Doublbogey<\/I><\/B> down by where Tees<\/I><\/B> was set up.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The trouble seemed to be because Mcflurrie<\/I><\/B> was making noise and the slurping noise was bothering everyone around him.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Badfish<\/I><\/B> came by but thankfully didn’t stay long as Reek<\/I><\/B> came along with him.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I wonder if Bad<\/I><\/B> is any relation to Red<\/I><\/B> and Blue<\/I><\/B>?\u00a0 <\/SPAN>There were the usual bunch of animals, Wolves<\/I><\/B> and Bears,<\/I><\/B> over by the bar hounding Squirrel<\/I><\/B> and Pigeon<\/I><\/B> but they all seemed to b e having a good time. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Bung<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> was selling 2 YO’s and got some good prices for them and Irehold<\/I><\/B> was seen bidding on a quite a few of the unraced young ones.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>They will probably be given away after they get home to <\/SPAN>Ireland<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Not a bad idea for residencies everywhere.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Spend money instead of breeding points!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I was glad to see Novanadia<\/I><\/B> and Chilcoat<\/I><\/B> and we discussed some Nag<\/I><\/B> business.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>We really need to give some more horses away!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Speaking of nags – Realhorse<\/I><\/B> came by with a Healthy<\/I><\/B> but Lamepony<\/I><\/B> and they were one step ahead of Reaper<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Woof<\/I><\/B> was begging for a horse of his own and Planetred<\/I><\/B> was seen at a far table with Heavenly<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I finally caught up with Elkchase<\/I><\/B> and gave him a copy of the catalogue that he had been looking for and told him to read it through Everyday<\/I><\/B> for the best Results<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That\u2019s about it from here so let’s move on to the\u2026.<\/o:p><\/B><\/SPAN><\/P>

Feakle<\/SPAN><\/B> – #343331 takes top honors this week among the non-transfers, selling for $3,200,001.00.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Consigned by Fitzgerald<\/I><\/B>, Feakle<\/B> is a ten time winner from 43 starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The 8 YO chestnut stallion was very rank coming into the ring and maybe that is why he hasn’t won in over a year. \u00a0<\/SPAN>On his plus side, he comes with lots of conditions.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He was a stakes winner as a 2 YO and stakes placed as a 3 YO but hasn’t shown the same brilliance lately.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>New owner Ezywin<\/I><\/B> is hoping to find the key to this rangy son of Rahy.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Sera<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B>, part of the Dawg Pound Group, consigned a nice looking dark bay colt by Seeking The Gold out of AP Clone by AP Indy.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Golden Clone <\/B>#137108, is a winner of one from 10 starts but will need to improve to warrant the $3,001,002.000 that Boogie<\/I><\/B> paid for him.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>One good thing is that the horse is young, has conditions and is relatively lightly raced.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Boogie<\/I><\/B> hopes to be able to work with that.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

There is something about grey that is eye catching – at least as a horse color.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Wexford Nipper<\/B> #138151, is no different and the handsome 3 YO grey colt drew some solid bidding.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In the end it was Brit2<\/I><\/B> winning the honors and will get to lead the horse away.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>By Kitten’s Joy out of Lest We Forget (Kingmambo), Wexford Nipper<\/B> has won two of his seven starts and has been in the money in four of those seven.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He was a winner last time out and has improving speed figures.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This might be the buy<\/I> of the millionaires and consignor Marmac<\/I><\/B> will pocket the $2,448,888.00 price tag.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

E Dubai is the sire of Death Of Me<\/B> #82083 a slightly built 3 YO blood bay filly out of Wylde Again (Awesome Again) and she must have been aptly named for Sdmf3<\/I><\/B> sent her to the sales ring after only eight starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is still a maiden but has finished in the money in four of those starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>On her plus side, she has been racing in the highly competitive owner restricted DelPenn races and earning checks.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That was good enough for Pm<\/I><\/B> to sign the ticket for $1,652,000.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/SPAN>A second maiden, Never High<\/B> #144106, rounds out the top five.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Tg<\/I><\/B> paid $1,203,902.00 to Hawk7<\/I><\/B> and led the 3 YO bay colt by Swain away to a new stable.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Never High<\/B> has only hit the board once in six starts but is still very green and should improve.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>His speed figures made a 10 point jump last time out at a longer distance so Tg<\/I><\/B> is hoping the colt will continue to improve.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The Stc:<\/SPAN><\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Not a lot of action among the Sim Challenge Trainers.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>They bought a total of 14 horses for $33,670.00 and that averaged out to $2,405.oo per horse.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That average was pushed up by the sale of Shapes Of Play<\/B> a 5 YO horse by Monolith.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Sandown<\/I><\/B> consigned the lightly raced horse who has won one of seven starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He’s four for seven in the money though, and Stcr12<\/I><\/B> was willing to pay $13,268.00 for what could be a promising animal. \u00a0<\/SPAN>Stcvbear<\/I><\/B> was the leading buyer this week taking home five for a total of $1,218.00.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
