The top 3 finishers of this event all set career bests.

Suicidal Tendency, Firsttime and Timeinhand locked up in a heated speed dual early. The threesome spread across the track until they struck the 3f mark when Suicidal Tendency had enough of the dual, and sprinted off to take the lead.

The lead would not last, as A Fleet Cat mounted a huge rally from the rear of the field to take top honors at the wire, defeating Suicidal Tendency by a mere head (Suicidal was my second choice, A Fleet Cat was my third). Both horses ended up with career speed marks of 112 each.

Three Taps, coming off two consecutive wins, put in a decent late run to take the third spot. Three Taps also set a career speed mark in the race, rating at 107.

The early speed dual turned out to be too much for my top selection Firsttime who had to settle in for the forth spot.

Southern Attack, the fifth place finisher, stalked the pacesetters early on. It appeared that Southern was in a good spot, letting the early speed fight it out, however, it turned out that Southern continued to show questionable form in her stake outings.

I still believe that there was a “stand in” during Milli Vanilli’s last race (which was run in a speed of 107). She was never a threat here, and ended the race in 6th with an 88 rating. She did not have me fooled.

Barb’s Banker was purely outclassed in this field and Timeinhand disappeared from the map after her early speed duel, rounding out the bottom of the field

[3

post-5509","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-reviews
["GET
