Longchamps-<\/B>Usoz\u2019s <\/I>La Pata Daisy<\/B> will be filly of the year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has won five consecutive graded races with four of those races being Grade I\u2019s and the other a Grade II.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>No other filly can match her graded accomplishments.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Sure Swift Kick <\/B>has won some big races, such as the Bluegrass Oaks and the Birmingham<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>, but this girl has dominated her foes.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In her last race at this distance she decimated a star filled field, winning the Dahlia Cup by five and one half furlongs.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Seven foes will go against her in the fourteen furlong $500,000 Ayla Cup, but at the end of the day I do not foresee anyone other then La Pata Daisy standing in the winner\u2019s circle.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>As is our custom, Official Hong Kong Track Handicapper, Pete \u2018The Hatchet\u2019 Wang will examine each filly to see if they have a chance to win or hit the board.<\/P>

PP1, Tiramasu\u2019s <\/I>Seeking The Statue<\/B>(9-1, Wood).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cThis owner trainer sends out several fillies in an attempt to pull off the upset.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Seeking The Statue is a daughter of Statue Of Liberty out of a Seeking The Gold mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This is her first stake and graded attempt.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is winless when racing on the turf, but she does have a second on the lawn when she raced ten furlongs two starts ago.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In that race she earned an 86 speed rating for her effort.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her last start was a twelve furlong effort on the dirt in Italy<\/st1:country-region><\/st1:place>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She closed willingly to be third and she looked like she wanted more ground.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Tiramasu\u2019s <\/I>other starter is an early speed filly that will try to set things up for this filly.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Could earn a minor share.\u201d<\/P>

PP2, Foxybullet\u2019s <\/I>First Magnitude<\/B>(6-1, Cleland).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cThis race marks her first start past ten furlongs, her first stake race and her first graded race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Closer has won her last three races, all open allowances.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Best speed rating in her last eight races is a 93 that she had when winning the ten furlong race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has Kris as her dam\u2019s dam sire so the distance may not be an issue.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Use her underneath in tour exotic wager.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP3, Singhis\u2019 <\/I>Gweneth(Ire)<\/B>(8-1, McMahon).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cYet another making her stake and graded debut.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Gweneth is an early speed horse that attempt to win this race from gate to wire.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has one previous race at the distance and was second with an 88 speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She tried to get the early lead and couldn\u2019t.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>When she does gain the early lead she can be dangerous.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>For example in her last race she took the early lead in a 13 furlong race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She extended her early lead to over seven lengths and eased home a winner with a 94 speed rating.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Tiramasu\u2019s <\/I>Polishyev <\/B>will challenge her attempts to gain the early lead.\u201d<\/P>

PP4, Redturkey\u2019s <\/I>Hail To The King<\/B>(4-1, Ventura<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cFourth ranked filly is a daughter of Kingmambo out of a Storm Bird mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Back in week 2482 Hail To The King won the G1 Adelaide Oaks.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In week 2552 Hail To The King faced off against La Pata Daisy in the G1 Sim Sports Irish Oaks and was fourth.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Best speed rating in her last eight races is a 95.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In her last start\u00a0 <\/SPAN>she won the two mile Gummo Bear Special over a turf course rated good.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This closer should enjoy the distance and should be primed to run a big race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I do not believe she can out finish La Pata Daisy, but she should hit the board, so use her underneath in your exotic wagers.\u201d<\/P>

PP5, Alluvial\u2019s <\/I>Mockingbird<\/B>(3-1, Wu).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cNumber two ranked filly is a daughter of Atticus out of a Kingmambo mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Closer has run against the top horse on numerous occasions and has yet to beat her.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>They last faced off in the Dahlia Cup and she was once again second to La Pata Daisy.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I think this drop dead closer needs to be a bit closer to the early lead to turn the tables on La Pata Daisy.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s just too far back when she makes her big move.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It\u2019s like she\u2019s the feminine version of Dollar Bill<\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Always coming hard at the end and always second.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Expected soft early pace may allow her to be a bit closer earlier in the race and give her a shot of turning the tables on her rival.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In her career she has won three of fourteen and has earned over $747,000 and won the G1 DUR AJC Oaks.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019m using her underneath in my exotics.\u201d<\/P>

PP6, Scout2\u2019s <\/I>Orbital(Ire)<\/B>(24-1, Coulthard).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cThis daughter of Galileo broke her maiden in her last start.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Maiden win came at ten furlongs.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Closer\u2019s best speed rating is an 83.\u201d<\/P>

PP7, Tiramasu\u2019s <\/I>Polishyev<\/B>(15-1, Graf).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cDaughter of Polish Precedent is an early speed horse that will duel with Gweneth for the early lead in this race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Polishyev won a 14 furlong race with an 83 speed rating, but she wasn\u2019t really tested in that race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Is eligible to improve in her third route try.\u201d<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

PP8, Usoz\u2019s <\/I>La Pata Daisy<\/B>(8\/5, McCartney).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u201cThe favorite and the number one ranked turf long filly.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>After her win in the Dahlia Cup, La Pata Daisy is now seven of thirteen and has earned over $1.7 million dollars.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In her thirteen starts, she has never finished worse then third.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In her last five races she has won four grade ones and a grade two.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She raced this distance in the Dahlia Cup and was brilliant.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her jockey in that race had not won a race all year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He was 0 for 58 and had only hit the board seven times.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Not anymore as La Pata Daisy earned that horrific jockey a Grade I win.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In that race she rated mid pack for a half and then pounced.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She won by five and one half lengths, but it could have been more.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She earned a 95 speed rating for her effort in the Dahlia.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019m not going to talk about her chances of being filly of the year because that is not my bailiwick.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019m just putting her on top on my ticket.\u201d<\/P>
