Hot And Ready<\/SPAN><\/B> has shown some promise \u2013 turning a year older has seen the colt improve by 10 points in his speed figures.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The downfall with him, however, is that he isn\u2019t quite able to hold off fast finishing closers.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The colt is not afraid of a dogfight, though, and makes the winners work hard to get past him, which is a quality point.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Last time out was a gutsy and heartbreaking loss by a head in the 6F turf Green Van Special.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I\u2019m curious to see how he handles the added distance.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This colt appropriately named Appropriately<\/B> (haha) returned from a 5 month layoff to make his 3yo debut a whopper!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The stakes winning colt had a nice 2yo season, but the trainer knew that some time off to grow and mature would do his charge good.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That it did!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The Sim world has yet to recognize Appropriately<\/B> as a household name, but I wouldn\u2019t be surprised if that happens within the year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The colt had been training great leading up to his 3yo debut; he was as sharp as a tack for that race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Appropriately<\/B> broke swiftly, flying to the rail with the early lead.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He opened up down the backstretch and was eased up on a bit down the lane as to not over exert himself.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He did enough to get the job done and in the end recorded an incredible 101sp.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Back just a short 2 weeks later and it doesn\u2019t both me a bit.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>They say that it takes roughly 3 starts after a layoff to see the best out of your horse\u2026 well, wowzers, I can\u2019t wait to see the ability Appropriately<\/B> has.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
