Auction 3490<\/SPAN><\/B> – A week of contrasts this week at the auction as fewer horses were entered but the average sale price was up as were the total sales.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The number of 2 YOs entered was way down, probably because 2 YO racing is right around the corner and it is much harder to offer up what just might be the next derby winner.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The Computer Farms took home about 50 less horses this week than last, which is a good thing as that is just about the end of the line as far as Sim horses go.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>But I will let you look for yourselves.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Auction Seen<\/SPAN><\/B> – Well finally, the sun was out both when I left <\/SPAN>Arizona<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:State> and when I arrived in <\/SPAN>Kentucky<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:State>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I made my way through an incredibly crowded sale barn and when I finally arrived at my table I found\u2026. an unlit fire!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Now what kind of a deal is this?\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It might be sunny but 50 degrees – IS NOT hot!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I guess they figured that the crush of people would keep the place warm.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Cheap skates!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>So I immediately ordered up some hot chocolate (Hershey’s Kisses, of course) and settled down, still wearing my coat and I don’t care if it is bad manners to wear a coat inside, to see who was visiting the auction this week.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Redhatcat<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> had his friend Bigredwon<\/I><\/B> in tow as they made their way down closer to the ring to where Deadman<\/I><\/B> was hanging out.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I saw Evildoer<\/I><\/B>, Outlaw<\/I><\/B> and Slacker<\/I><\/B> over in the corner with Classified<\/I><\/B> and no telling what they were cooking up but more than likely it will not be something everyone will like.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Nagnagnag<\/I><\/B> stopped by my table to remind me not to get our stable nags mixed up and Racinrich<\/I><\/B> was keeping an eye on Tigereyes<\/I><\/B> who was staring at Puffqueen<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Treefarms, Teaplanter<\/I><\/B> and Crnhusker<\/I><\/B> were down by the rail, no doubt looking for agricultural opportunities or at the very least discussing farm prices with Hillbilly<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Wabred<\/I><\/B> and Wetrunners <\/I><\/B>– of course they would be together – were talking positive about <\/SPAN>Disneyland<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B><\/st1:place> and Robinhood.<\/I><\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I really wanted to hear what they were saying but even though I have big ears they were just too far away so I was really glad when Soclose<\/I><\/B> came by to say hello before going off towards Gocollect<\/I><\/B> to buy a catalog along with Mattbumba<\/I><\/B> (Matt what?)\u00a0 <\/SPAN>On that note\u2026.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I better go on to the millionaire horses for this week.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Only nine horses sold for more than a million dollars and many of those were stable transfers.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Of the four that were not – the top selling horse was hip # 150519, You Can’t Escape<\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The very handsome gray 4 YO colt has only started five times, winning once and finishing in the money three times.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Foxon5<\/I><\/B> consigned this nice colt and Marre<\/I><\/B> paid $3,031,865.00 to take him home.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He looks like he might be a nice buy if Marre<\/I><\/B> can get him over what might be distance limitations.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Champions2<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> sold a pretty 4 YO dark brown filly by Tale Of The Cat to Zeco <\/I><\/B>for $1,320,000.00.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Dixieland Cat,<\/B> #132661, has won three of 12 races and has finished in the money seven times and it looks like Zeco<\/I><\/B> may have gotten a nice lightly raced filly for his money.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Holy Native<\/SPAN><\/B>, #150168, brought $1,111,112.00 from stable Dreamon<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A smallish but good looking, 3 YO gray colt by Macho Uno, Holy Native<\/B> is a winner of one of his five starts and was consigned by Zewango.<\/I><\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This colt has some growing to do and once this colt matures he should improve.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Sirronny<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> paid $1,000,001.00 for a 3 YO burnished chestnut filly by <\/SPAN>Royal<\/SPAN><\/st1:PlaceName> <\/SPAN>Academy<\/SPAN><\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Royal Danser<\/B> has yet to win a race but she has only started three times and has improving speed figures.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Sold as hip #153224, Royal Danser<\/B> was consigned by Moriahspop.<\/I><\/B><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Trainers involved in the Sim Trainer Challenge bought a total of 19 horses for $39,726.00 with an average price of $2,090.84.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>That average was helped immensely by Gwolfstc<\/I><\/B> who paid $15,001.00 for a 3 YO filly named Indy Bird<\/B> # 120521.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is by Sabre D’Argent (Kris S) and out of an AP Indy mare.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Lawyerron<\/I><\/B> sold this attractive filly that has never run for a claim.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN>Lexington<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B><\/st1:place><\/st1:City> sold the 5 YO bay horse #101524 Living In Oz<\/B> to Stcr12<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>By Crafty Prospector, this young horse brought $8,002.00, the second highest bid in this section.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
