Auction 3448 – <\/SPAN><\/B>Wow!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I think everyone must have gotten some money for Christmas and they were all bound and determined to spend it at the after Christmas sale.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Six horses sold for over a million dollars and only one was an obvious stable transfer.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Marre,<\/I><\/B> under stables Bobo <\/I><\/B>and Mariauas<\/I><\/B> even bought two of the million dollar plus horses.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>All facets of the auction were up except one – the Computer stable took home 27 fewer horses this week than last.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>And that, I think is a good thing.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/B><\/SPAN><\/P>

Will the rain never cease around here?\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I think I need a new and larger umbrella or this place needs some under roof parking!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I arrived at my table soaking wet, but the powers that be had the fire blazing and a large crowd was on hand to look at the many offerings this week.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The Happydays<\/I><\/B> group was buying en masse and Feedbucket<\/I><\/B> came by with Myhorsebig<\/I><\/B> arguing over the merits of some of the many 2 YO’s being offered.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Turkeyboy<\/I><\/B> missed Thanksgiving and said he was happy to be here.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Dandaman<\/I><\/B> was looking up at 1000stars<\/I><\/B> and the Bear<\/I><\/B> clan was keeping a sharp eye on Lionhound<\/I><\/B> and Goatracker<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Apropos of nothing, I have a lion hound named Abraham so we had a bit of a chat.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Fearnaught<\/I><\/B> came by with Wahoo<\/I><\/B> who hasn’t been seen much recently and Teaplanter<\/I><\/B> earns my favorite name of the week mention.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>No prize, just a mention.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Texasace<\/I><\/B> sat himself down moaning that he still hasn’t been able to sell his two random horses.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I told him he just needed to take that $500,000 reserve off of them and he might get them sold.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He’s a stubborn soul, so I don’t know if I convinced him or not.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He’s always fun to visit with but he wouldn’t tell me why he keeps consigning those two horses even though I asked everyway I could think of.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The top seller this week was a 3 YO dark bay colt by Awesome Again.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Hip # 135175, Credit Change,<\/B> was consigned by Brentuk2<\/I><\/B> and has won three of 16 starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A solid allowance horse, he is capable of 100 + speed figures but seems to stop like he hit a wall and might be a bleeder.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Hopefully Bobo<\/I><\/B> can find the key to this $4,664,115.00 auction purchase.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Milk Cow Blues<\/SPAN><\/B>, # 2210, was consigned by Sarava02<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u00a0<\/SPAN>The 4 YO bright chestnut filly by Pientre Celebre is a winner of four of her 26 starts and is another that is capable of the 100 + speed figure.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>All trimmed in white she turned several heads, but it was Acote<\/I><\/B>, one of the rich GRsimsters, who paid $3,200,001 to take her home<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

A racy looking bay colt named Formed by War,<\/B> hip # 139076, was the second high dollar purchase by Marre.<\/I><\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Signing the ticket as Mariauas,<\/I><\/B> he liked what he saw in this stakes placed 2 YO colt by War Chant, and was willing to pay $2,300,000.00 for him.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Skunkbarn3<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> has just resurfaced and must have had his accounts drawing high interest as he forked over $1,500,000 for a 4 YO plain brown filly named The Brutalizer<\/B>, hip # 119464.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has won four of 22 starts including last time out.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>By Montjeu she could have been had for a paltry $2,500 two races back. \u00a0<\/SPAN>Yielding<\/I><\/B> was the consignor. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Funny Car,<\/SPAN><\/B> hip # 106993, brought $1,000,001 from Billy2shoe<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A rangy copper chestnut 2 YO colt by Speightstown, he has only started five times and has run very greenly in several of those.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Jockeymax6<\/I><\/B> didn’t have room to keep him around and put him up for sale, much to Billy2shoe’s<\/I><\/B> delight.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The 2 YO dark bay filly, Nacho Slick<\/B> # 147472, was a stable transfer between Billy2shoe<\/I><\/B> and Gregchilds<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The best finish in three starts for this daughter of Bel Esprit was a fourth, two back, but there is always room for improvement.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It cost them $1,000,000.00 even to get the deed done.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u00a0\u00a0<\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/B><\/SPAN><\/P>

Stc play begins next week and most trainers were just filling the few stalls they had open in preparation.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The trainers bought 42 horses and paid an average of $890.28 for them, for total sales of $ 37,392.00.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Vettstc<\/I><\/B> bought the most expensive horse of the group.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He paid $77.001.00 for a 2 YO colt by Scrimshaw.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Named Shaw<\/B> (hip # 147532), Vettstc<\/I><\/B> bought the lightly raced, maiden colt from Ewhisper<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The second highest price among the Stc trainers this week was paid for Wispa<\/B> (hip #120541).\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Roscoestc<\/I><\/B> signed the ticket for the winning, 3 YO son of Sir <\/SPAN>Leon<\/SPAN><\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Wispa<\/B> was consigned by Willowwisp<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Meuccistc<\/I><\/B> was the leading buyer taking home five and Stcsargent<\/I><\/B> was close behind with four.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
