The Savage Pain Stakes is a seven furlong stakes races on dirt and is worth $85,000. The field is open to any three year old or older who believes they have what it takes to win. This year, the field consists of a ten horse field and some promising contestants. The favorite, Go Fast Turn Left, is a four year old brown colt who is owned by tartar. The lucky jockey? P. Sullivan. With odds at 3:1, Go Fast Turn Left has only raced one other stakes race, finishing 8th. He’s a come from behind horse and with his last performance, lets hope he gives this field a run for their money.<\/p>\n
I Can Dig It follows the odds at 5:1 and is the second only other horse coming into the race with a previous win. You can expect him to run off the pace. Carnival Of Souls is in post number one and has won one stakes race before this. Grosse Isle is a three year old and one of the youngest in the field. But don’t be thrown from your seats. He has a graded II stakes race underneath his hooves but is coming into the race at 12:1. Gold For Lady, a light grey colt, is a rookie in racing for the higher stakes. He can be predicted to also run off the front runners, but he might burn out before the race is done. And then there is Persian Lyric. Another three year old brown colt who has won a graded three stakes race and has also won his previous race. Red Vise is owned by econ and is being ridden by C Morris and is at odds 10:1. Cat In A Hardhat proved himself on the sloppy track hitting 108 and has won three stakes races before this. In post position number nine, Soy De Ponce, the oldest running horse in the field is at odds 5:1. Pretty good right? He hit 107 in his last race which sadly coming in 7th. He’ll be sitting in the back of the pack, more then likely. And finally, there is Waraja. A four year old brown colt owned by Casino. The last race he won was back in August and he has proven himself a strong closer.<\/p>\n
