Auction 3441 – <\/SPAN><\/B>The auction bounced around this week with more horses being entered but less selling.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The average sale price was down about $20,000 and the total sales plummeted by about seven million dollars.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Only four horses were sold for over a million dollars and with only one week left until the Stc starts there was only limited buying action by the Stc trainers. Trotter<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B> was busy buying and selling but stopped by to say hi as did Realdeal<\/I><\/B> and my fellow Arizonian Dukesn<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Paton<\/I><\/B> and Sherman<\/I><\/B> were hunting Castro<\/I><\/B> and Taffysfill<\/I><\/B> was hiding out with Billy2shoe<\/I><\/B> at a corner table with their backs to the wall.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Hops<\/I><\/B> (Jake) was looking over the big stable reduction of Blobfarms<\/I><\/B> and all their subsidiaries.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>16days<\/I><\/B> had been on the road with 18wheels<\/I><\/B> and were taking it easy over by the bar.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Binzaman<\/I><\/B> was busy spending his money but he and fellow Queenslander, Pekays,<\/I><\/B> stopped by for a short visit.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Texasace<\/I><\/B> was back with his random breds and I am sure that he just likes to see his name in print because the reserve never changes and the horses never sell.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Good thing I like him, so I will continue to give him space in my column when possible.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u00a0<\/SPAN>My two favorite names for this week – Wakenbake<\/I><\/B> and Comacozzi<\/I><\/B> sounds like chicken dinner and a cocktail – can’t beat that.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>So onwards and upwards to \u2026\u2026.. The Millionaires:<\/SPAN><\/B>\u00a0 <\/SPAN> The top price was down over a million dollars from last week and only four horses topped the million dollar mark, but I am pretty sure these were all legit sales, which is nice!\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u00a0<\/SPAN>Hip # 135635, Five Legged Cat,<\/B> topped the sale at an even $2 million and the big, gray, 2 YO colt was consigned by Dtheone5<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Conor<\/I><\/B> signed the ticket for the stake’s placed son of <\/SPAN> Reserve honors went to hip # 47168, Red Slips Away<\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A good looking dark bay colt by Ransom Of War sold for $1,600,000.00 to Cream<\/I><\/B>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Lynn246<\/I><\/B> was the recorded seller of this maiden colt who has placed in two of his three starts with increasing speed figures.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He sure looks the part and Cream<\/I><\/B> knows his horses.
