It is getting late in the year and these youngsters are really maturing. We have a ton of early speed in this race and that could really determine the outcome. Some of these youngsters could be the next big thing in our race world. Here is hoping that I can be one of the folks that get to say \u201cI remember when\u2026\u201d during the big three year old turf races next year. And yet the Morning Line still has him at double digit odds. Is this the place to make some easy money? The interestingly named colt has done everything that trainer Reman12000 and the R & R Stables have asked of him. He should benefit from the inside post as he loves the front. The only worry I have this race is jockey Anderson who has proven more of an anchor than a guide so far this year. He may be partial to a mile but likes this distance as well. They need a slight bump in SPF but this colt should be in the mix at the end. <\/p>\n

He has been competitive but didn\u2019t have another 80+ SPF until last time out when he finished fifth in the GIII GRAND CRITTER Stakes. He has been competitive but hasn\u2019t been able to show the command that he had in that first race. Like his mount, Jockey Tuscha is solid in if unspectacular in the saddle and can put up a good one at any time. The Belair Stud Stables hope that it is this time.<\/p>\n

Anyway, they had better get the record of this brown colt who has never finished out of the money in five races and has previously won a Stakes race at the ROYAL SATURN BONANZA. That race was on an off track but he has continued to improve each and every time out for trainer WTAS02 and the DixieDotco Racing empire. His past two have been narrow Graded misses and had high 80 SPFs. They have the tracks best jockey up in Craig and the inside post should help his front running style. As long as he and TIGER HILL COLT<\/b> don\u2019t tire each other fighting for the lead, you could have your winner here.<\/p>\n

He keeps improving for trainer WIldWest and the Morrigan Stable Empire with a quick 87 SPF last time out with a win in the GOLD CHAMP Challenge. He may like a little shorter distance but should be fine here. A couple of problems here for the colt, first he has two favorites inside that will challenge his front running style. He also has to carry jockey Heck who has been less than stellar this year. All in all though, this team should be in the mix at the end. <\/p>\n

After this chestnut colt\u2019s first race he has pretty much said the same to trainer Pisano2 and the Pisano Stables as he has finished either first or second in every race. Four of those were Stakes outings including a win in the LA KING Stakes. We have more early speed here and it will have a lot to do with the guidance of jockey Hichens whether they follow that or not. He hasn\u2019t had much success with either big decisions or winning mounts this year.<\/p>\n

He comes here with two consecutive races, both Stakes with a nice boost in his SPFs. HolyGrass has to be happy with that and also with the fact that he has jockey Bradley in the irons with his gaudy win percentage this year. It wouldn\u2019t be a big surprise to see a win here from this trio.<\/p>\n

The Team Doza Racing Stables has also brought in the capable guidance of jockey Liddle to man the reins and that should help with this youngster. Yet another front runner here and it could bet really crowded on the front end. Stamina will prevail here. <\/p>\n

That was at a mile and it remains to be seen whether this colt prefers the spring or classic distance. He will be carrying the colors of the Theburglar Stables and may be dragging around jockey Weinman who is rumored to be battling a weight problem and has barely shown up in the win column this year. The best chance here is to see if all of the front runners wear themselves out and move up from the back for this colt. <\/p>\n

He has never quite taken that next step to the \u201cPrime Time\u201d and has looked a bit confused when trying to decide on his best distance. He seems to be better at a mile plus but has been a bit inconsistent there as well. A bigger problem is the anchor on his back in jockey Wasko who has been just short of dreadful this year. Could be a tough spot here. <\/p>\n

Then he really laid an egg last time out with a second place in a short field of only four and dropping back to a 75SPF. He seems to lose focus and throw in a bit of a clunker every so often. He has jockey Jones in the leather and he has a pretty good record with these youngsters and that may help here. <\/p>\n

The WJobSports Stables look to be trying to bring this colt into the big time in a hurry and I sure hope that he is ready. A lot of questions may be answered here. <\/p>\n

Other than that one race, she is a three time Stakes winner against the ladies and even threw in a second against the boys. She may be in a good spot here with the outside post and a come from behind style waiting for the legion of leaders to wilt late in the race. She has Smith in the saddle and he is looking for some answers as his been worse than his nine years of experience have shown. It will be interesting to see how this gal fares against the boys.<\/p>\n

He comes in sporting a two race win streak including the ARGENTINE BLAZE Special Stakes last time out. That race was only at five and a half furlongs so you have to wonder if it will translate well to this distance. Trainer Khalasar of the Given Stables:Fire and Blood, must feel that he can handle the extra distance though he has only run this far one other time with an Allowance win in a short field. They have jockey Edwards doing the honors and he has shown quite capable of showing these youngsters the correct pace so it may work out well and they may contend in the end.<\/p>\n

Trainer VicWest and the WJobSports Stables have chosen his spot well. He comes in with a three race win streak including a lightning fast 90 SPF in the DEVIL\u2019S ADVOCATE last time out. He is parked on the outside in a race with tons of early speed and he is a deep closer. He also has Cooper in the leather and he has been having a great year and boasts 11 years of experience. Although this will be the longest that this colt has run to date, I think that this trio may be ending up in the winners circle.<\/p>\n

Paz Picks = 14-3-7-6<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is still hard even this late in the season to pick a winner from these two year olds. This has a chance to be a really electrifying race and it may end up with lots of jostling for the win at the finish. I like OS CHACHIN <\/b> to be my long shot choice and I have him on my card to finish fourth although he may finish much better. I worry a bit that all of the early speed will use each other up but I have one of those front runners, SOCK ME UP <\/b> with enough to finish in the top three. I would love to choose LARGENT <\/b> to win this race but once again, I worry about all of the early speed. That leaves the win for a hard charging PROUD CHARM <\/b> who will pass everyone in the stretch and claim the win. It just seems like he has a perfect setup in this race.<\/p>\n
