Out of the G2 winning mare DESPICABLE this son of INTO\nMISCHIEF is a multiple G3 winner already and one of two $1M earners in this\nfield. Of the two $1M earners he\u2019s looking like he\u2019s got the better chance to\ntake down this field then his counterpart. He\u2019s likely to be favored in this\none and should have the rest of the field on notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUPER SNITZ (SNITZEL\nx TIZNOW x SEEKING THE GOLD)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(12-6-2-2) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of one bad performance in the G1 Double F Memorial,\nthis lightly raced son out of the G2 winning mare BLUNDSTONE ARENA has run very\nwell throughout his career. His only two finishes outside the money came in the\naforementioned G1 and a maiden try on turf. Other than that he\u2019s been\nultra-competitive with his best performance coming in the form of a G3\nBluegrass Cup Sprint victory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GHOST COMPANION (GHOSTZAPPER\nx NUREYEV x GONE WEST) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(25-12-1-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the allowance winning mare LOYAL HARMONY, he\u2019s\nanother who\u2019s coming off of his best performance taking down the G3 Uncle Vernon\nposting a 108 speed fig. His 12 career wins is by far the most in the field and\nhe looks to be coming into his own of late. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

KURBAT (NO NAY NEVER\nx A.P. INDY x FORTY NINER) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(18-6-6-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the G2 winning mare ELEGY, he\u2019s on a 3 race win\nstreak in which he took down two listed stakes at 5 and 5.5 furlongs. With that\nmost recent 110 speed fig he\u2019ll be a definite speed presence in this one but\nits worth mentioning he\u2019s never won at a distance beyond 5.5 furlongs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNCLE INDY (UNCLE MO\nx A.P. INDY x TOM ROLFE)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This son of UNCLE MO broke his maiden and has run at the\nstakes level or higher in every single one of his 27 other starts. Needless to\nsay he\u2019s the most battle tested horse in the field and is coming off his first\ngraded victory since his 2-year old season. Inconsistency has been the name of\nhis game but you can\u2019t count him out given the most recent performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the mare SCAT DADDY DO he\u2019s coming off his best\nperformance of his career where he earned a 107 speed fig in the Gillespie Dirt\nSprint stakes. He seems to be on a bit of an uptick performance wise and could\nbe a presence in how this one unfolds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAKES ME CRY (EMPIRE\nMAKER x STREET CRY x ESKENDEREYA)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the SW mare CHE BELLA this son of EMPIRE MAKER has\nhad a very mediocre career earning his SP badge in the 6F Narayan Dirt Sprint\nlast August and only has a top speed fig of 102 for his career. It is possible\nthat he turns a corner at the age of 4 as his momma seemed to hit her high\npoint at the age of 4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MIDSUMMER\u2019S PARTY (HENNY\nHUGHES x HOUSEBUSTER x ROBERTO)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s done his best work at today\u2019s distance and is has been\ncompetitive at the allowance level as of late. Having run 28 times throughout\nhis career he\u2019s certainly one of the most seasoned runners in this field but it\nremains to be seen if he has the level of talent needed to get his G2 badge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DARK PRIMO (EL KABEIR\nx SNITZEL x KING OF KINGS (IRE)) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the SW mare SNITZEL DANCER whose best performance\ncame last April with a 3rd<\/sup> place finish in the Seeking The Sun Dirt\nSprint. His last two attempts at the graded level have been lack luster losing\nby a combined 26 lengths. Given the lack of victories in his career I\u2019ll be\nlooking elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GOLD ZONE (AWESOME\nAGAIN x STORM CAT x DANZIG) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once upon a time he was on the derby trail. After winning\nthe G3 Legoland he struggled mightily never finding the money in 7 additional\ntries at the graded level during his 3 year old season. His most recent\nperformance was a last place finish in the 6 furlong G1 Double F Memorial. This\nweekend\u2019s race is his first since November and since he hasn\u2019t shown much in\nhis recent form I\u2019m looking elsewhere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MURDEROUS SOUL (WAR\nFRONT x PULPIT x WILD AGAIN)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s out of the G1 winning WANDERLUST II and has had a few\ncracks at stakes with his best finish coming in the form of a 4th<\/sup>\nplace finish. He\u2019s got some talent and a nice closing kick, but having never\nfound the money in a stakes race or ran in a graded event is a big step up in\ncompetition for him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

VADA CRAFTY CAT (VADAMOS\n(FR) x CRAFTY PROSPECTOR x STORM CAT)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 4 year old colt out of the mare CRAFTY KAT who\u2019s only\nmanaged to be stakes placed thus far in his career. He\u2019s had four attempts at\ngraded company and hasn\u2019t really been very competitive with his best finish\ncoming in the form of a 7th<\/sup> place finish. He looks to be a bit\novermatched in this one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TURBULENCE T.  (HENNY HUGHES x GONE WEST x BLUSHING GROOM)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(26-9-2-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most accomplished runner in the field in terms of\nearnings and credentials, this G1 winning gelding has won only one race in his\nlast 10 which was a 50K NW1T claimer. He was clearly a talented horse in his\nyounger days but it would seem father time has caught up with him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

STRIKE PAY DIRT (BERNARDINI\nx SMART STRIKE x WILD AGAIN)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(11-5-3-0) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since failing at the graded level on two separate occasions he\u2019s\nrun fairly well with his speed fig consistently improving in his last three\nwhich includes a stakes victory in the Gate Keeper Memorial. He should figure\nto be part of the early pace as his M.O. has been get the lead and catch me if\nyou can. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
