This would happen to be my real life birthday weekend and here in the sim I wished to spend it at the races.\u00a0 There are many wonderful races that are running this weekend which also include the Dell Web Mile for this group of turf runners.\u00a0 They will travel 8 furlongs in California across what is listed to be a firm turf track for Saturday\u2019s race.\u00a0 This is a very nice looking field of contenders that wish to add a win here to their resumes.\u00a0 I have looked over the track and watched a few last minute workings of some of these horses.\u00a0 I have spoken with some of the owners and jockeys and all seem confident that their horses are ready for this trip.\u00a0 The odds makers have posted their morning line and the post positions have been drawn.\u00a0 Let\u2019s take a look at how these horses stack up and take a preview peek of the contenders here in California for the Dell Web Mile.<\/p>\n

Grade 2 race for the first time.\u00a0 The owner puts in a call to Maryland to contract with jockey, C Gerhke to take the ride with his Bay colt.\u00a0 In this horses last two outing he has ran a respectable 114 speed rating.\u00a0 Better be watching for him to close after the third call.\u00a0 He will be going out on Saturday representing the Pastures of Green residency.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n furlongs.\u00a0 He came back on 07\/13\/19 to run in Pennsylvania in another Listed Stakes race the, Saratoga Storm Stakes but could do no better than 5th<\/sup> in that race with a small drop in his speed rating from his prior race.\u00a0 Jockey, B Orazio from Illinois gets the call to ride up top of this colt as they go to the gate on Saturday representing the Hispano Parlante residency.<\/p>\n badge, but you will have to look back to October of 2018 to find he won a Listed Stakes in Indiana when he ran in the Eric Roo Stakes at a distance of 8.5 furlongs.\u00a0 In more recent outings he has won his last two trips to the track running against Allowance company.\u00a0 He will be taking a big jump in Class to contend here in California.\u00a0 His last race on 07\/26\/2019 he ran a nice 114 speed rating, but he will have to bring that forward with him.\u00a0 This owner places a call to New York and finds the talents of jockey, N Lawton available to take the mount up top of his Roan colt.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 4.\u00a0 \u00a0Wester\u00a0 failed to pick up another win since that race. \u00a0His speed ratings have fallen off a little this season, but he has been able to catch the boards a couple of times recently.\u00a0 The owner puts in the call to jockey, L Kraft from Michigan to fly in and take to the irons for his outing on Saturday.\u00a0 They will be going off at 11\/1 as one of the longest choices in this field.\u00a0 This picked up one win so far this season and that was on the turf in an Allowance race in Berkshire, England when he closed nicely to get the win on a good turf tack.\u00a0 He has been struggling in his past few trips to the track and his jockey, F Oxon from Louisiana will need to reach down into his back of tricks to get his horse to fire.\u00a0 A fast pace out of the gate by the front runners could be helpful for this horse.\u00a0 They will take to the gate representing the DelPenn National residency.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 6.\u00a0 Hope Of Nations\u00a0 two G2 wins this season and one of those came in his last race in Kentucky on 06\/23\/2019 in the G2, The Sparkler Handicap when this front runner closed up shop on his contenders throwing down a 119 speed rating.\u00a0 He gets a jockey change in this race with jockey, T Ace from Texas taking to the irons.\u00a0 They will be heading out of the paddock to parade to the gate representing All-Star which makes it difficult to know what kind of performance he will bring here to California for this race on Saturday.\u00a0 His owner puts in the call to Germany to acquire the services of jockey, T
