I must say, even on a Dreamliner it is a long trip to fly to Ireland.\u00a0 But it did give me plenty of time to study a very nicely decorated field of fourteen fillies that will go 8 furlongs in The Irish 1000 Guineas Stakes.\u00a0 This race has drawn some of the top turf fillies who will be looking to put another very prestigious race on their resume.\u00a0 We have five Graded winners in this field of fourteen, while the remaining horses will be looking to make the wire first and graduate into the elite Graded winning group.\u00a0 We have many horses representing some of the top residencies today as the fillies take to the track.\u00a0 I have taken a trip around the stables here in Ireland and spoken with some of the owners and jockeys, all of which feel their filly has a good shot in winning The Irish 1000 Guineas.\u00a0 The odds makers have set their morning line and the post positions have been drawn.\u00a0 So let us go take a preview of this very distinguished field of fillies and see how they stack up.<\/p>\n
