The 3-year-old Noverre colt, who went off at odds of 10-1, sat just off the speed dual of <B>The Massive<\/B> and <B>Blues Event<\/B> early before taking the lead at the top of the stretch. He was then able to hold off the late charge of<B> <\/B>favored <B>Like The Rain<\/B> to get the win. Like The Rain rallied from fifth place with a strong move in the stretch, but it was not enough to catch the winner. <B>Kilbeggan Races<\/B> also rallied in the stretch to pick up the show money.
