Welcome to the first annual running of the Nominations Committee Not Needed G1 Stakes<\/I>. We are joined to day by a cloudless sky and a perfect breeze that Spain<\/st1:country-region>\u2019s National<\/st1:PlaceName> Horse<\/st1:PlaceName> Park<\/st1:PlaceType><\/st1:place> patrons just can not seem to get enough of. Though it is great to cover races you have not seen in a year, there is just something about a maiden racing stakes that is just fresh and exciting. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

The competitors are pumped and ready for action in today\u2019s fifteenth and final race. Let\u2019s take a look at the field to see who may and win and who should sleep in!<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP1: E Buda (113995) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: E Dubai<\/st1:place> x Storm Cat<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This one is taking his time to progress into a graded stakes winner, but he just not quite there yet. He does not back down from a fight and will give it his all. He may fall about mid to forward pack.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP2: Sobron (108835) <\/SPAN>(3yo By: Unbridled\u2019s Song x Carson<\/st1:City><\/st1:place> City)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This colt took his time in the beginning and then made a huge leap in his last start. His finishes are top notch and despite his inexperience, he may have the power to overwhelm the field and steal an upset win. <\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP3: Not Another Quirt (32752) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: Hennessy x Freud<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This colt is similar to the one above. It would be a long shot, but I wouldn\u2019t count these two out entirely. \u00a0<\/SPAN><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP4: Early Peak (114194) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: In Excess x Storm Cat<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

He has achieved a few wins but never really killed at the graded level. Today\u2019s race could end up in the higher 100\u2019s and I don\u2019t think this one can handle it at this point in his career. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP5: Tired Wings (28120) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: E Pollard\u2019s Vision x Danzig<\/st1:place><\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This horse is a power house. He had two 11th<\/SUP> place hiccups, but has otherwise been flawless. He will be on the board if all goes well, health wise, and will be the biggest challenger for the win. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP6: Belisario (121040) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: E Dixieland Band x A.P. Indy<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This colt made an impressive Derby Prep victory by near four lengths, but has yet to make ground else where. He has all the elements to win; he just has not put them together. I can see this one finishing in the middle of the pack.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP7: Ants (129621) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: E Seneca Jones x Metfield<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

He is starting to figure out what he was built for and it is paying off. Of the long-shots I think Ants is most likely to pull of an out-of-the-blue win. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP8: Grand Arbiter (121191) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: Agnes World x Gone West<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

This horse is very talented but seems to have fallen off the block these last few months. He\u2019ll be game, but may not have the \u201cA\u201d he needs to strike a win.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP9: Daytona Beach<\/st1:City><\/st1:place> (83877) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: Storm Cat x Forty Niner<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This one, though has yet to mark less than 5th<\/SUP> in 12 races, has very little consistency on the board. His speeds have been increasing steadily with every race and a triple digit is very likely. He may keep pace with the forward pack and remain in striking distant the whole way around the track.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP10: I Love My Grandpa (199633) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: Silver Ghost x Night Shift<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

Well Grandpa loves to win. He seems to have faded a bit in his last (maiden) GI race, but has performed well in the smaller stakes races. This one should be on the board and even a win is very probable. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

PP11: Ghost Blade (82805) (<\/SPAN>3yo By: Danzig<\/st1:place> Connection x Silver Ghost<\/SPAN>)<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

He is getting there and progressing sure enough, but can not maintain ground at the stakes level. This one may have wanted to sleep in. <\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

All in all I\u2019m thinking Tired Wings to win, I Love My Grandpa to place and Daytona Beach<\/st1:City><\/st1:place> to show.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>
