This colt has cashed a cheque in all 10 races on the turf so far in his career. He has started in 4 stakes races to date and has a pair of 3rd and a pair of 4th place finishes. He will be making his Graded stakes debut today. He posted his lifetime best 104 speed rating last time out while finishing 4th in the 8 furlong The Big Matt(IRE) Stakes in Kansas. While predominantly a speedy frontrunner, he reversed tactics last time out and stayed at the back early and tried to closed in the latter stages of the race. While he did rally last time out and gained a few lengths he was unable to get up in the top 3 but perhaps the extra furlong today will be helpfull if he chooses the same syle today. He posted his lifetime best 104 speed rating 2 starts back in The Bornwild II(IRE) Stakes over 9 furlongs on the turf in South Carolina. He came back to win another turf stake route last time out posting another triple digit speed rating. This colt is a closer who settles at the back of the pack in the first half of the race and then makes a big charge in the stretch drive. He has already won at today’s distance. This colt broke his maiden on the dirt in his 3 year old debut this season and then was switched to the turf since. He has picked up 3 allowance wins in long turf route races but is 0/2 in Graded stakes runs when he ran in back to back Grade I derby’s overseas in England and Australia. He did manage a third place finish in one of those Graded runs over 12 furlongs. He posted his lifetime best 99 speed rating last time out while winning a 10 furlong conditioned allowance race in Nevada. This colt is a closer who will be dropping down in distance for today’s race after racing at the 10 to 12 furlong distances in his last 5 starts. He has already won at the 9.5 furlong distance earlier this year. This 63rd divisional ranked colt runs for the Leesnyder stables based at The Pastures of Green in Vermont. Another colt who started on the dirt but switched to the turf in his 4th lifetime start and has finished no worse than 2nd in all 9 starts on the lawn. Included in that total is a win and two seconds in overnite stakes races. He posted his lifetime best 105 speed rating 3 starts back but came back and posted a 103 speed rating in The Montana El Memorial Stakes over 9 furlongs on the turf in Georgia last time out. This horse usually runs a closer/stalker style race sitting midpack early in the race. He has won already at today’s distance and this will be his Graded stakes debut today. This 262nd divisional ranked colt runs for the SuperStables’s More Evil than The Evil Empire division located at Del/Penn National. This colt had 4 top 3 finished in Graded stakes runs at the end of his 2 year old campaign including a 3rd place finish in The Grade I Breeders Bowl Juvenile. He was unable to pick up a win in any of those races and so far this year has not shown much improvement in his sophomore season with his only win in an Allowance race where he posted his lifetime best 97 speed rating over the 8.5 furlong race. As a result his connections have decided to try the turf and this Grade II event will be his lifetime turf debut. HIs best races are run as a closer as he tends to sit way back early in the race. He has won at the 8.5 furlong distance but has run 9 furlongs several times already in his career. This 58th divisional ranked colt races for the Rocket group of stables based over at the GR Simsters. This colt was a 3 time allowance race winner in his 2 year old season and has managed a stakes win in 8 starts this year, all stakes starts. In his 2 Graded stakes starts he has a 3rd place finish in The Grade III Dante Stakes over 11 furlongs in North Florida and then he was distanced when he tried the 12 furlong Grade I Derby De English. He posted his lifetime best 98 speed rating while finishing 2nd in The African Act Memorial stakes over 9.5 furlongs on the turf last time out. This colt’s best runs are from a stalking style race where he sits a few lenght’s of the leaders and then closes in the stretch drive. This 95th divisional ranked colt races for the unafilliated Right At Home Stables. After winning his lifetime debut MSW race last year this colt has seen nothing but stake race starts since. He won 3 overnite stakes in his 2 year old season and has added another one this year. In 6 Graded stakes starts he has managed one 2nd place finish. He posted his lifetime best 97 speed rating 2 starts back while racing in the 8 furlong turf Smackdown III residence competition. While this horses best runs come when running up front either settting the early fractions or pressing the pace it should be noted that he usually is unable to sustain his bid when running in routes. In actual fact all of his wins have come in sprints and this may be to tough a task to ask from this colt as it does not appear to be his favored distance today. This 110th divisional ranked colt races for the unafilliated Greenapple Group of Stables. This colt will be making his turf debut in today’s race. He posted his lifetime best 106 speed rating while winning The Grade I California Derby earlier this year which earned him a trip to the Bluegrass Derby where he stalked the place but could not sustain his bid and ended up in 6th place. He has posted 2 second place and 1 fourth place finish in 4 Graded stakes starts since but his connections have not been satisfied with his progress and are going to see how this one reacts to the surface change. He has posted 4 triple digit speed ratings in his last 6 starts and while his record looks good the surface change may scare off some of the bettors as he is listed as co-morning line favorite. He has already won at today’s 9 furlong distance. This 97th divisional ranked colt races for Fatattack’s Lone Star Racing based over at Del/Penn National. This colt appeared to be injured in his last race as a 2 year old but it was all for not as her returned 3 weeks later to start his 3 year old campaign and has raced very well. He has posted 4 wins this season including a win in the 12 furlong The Ollie’s Wars Special Stakes this season. He posted his lifetime best 99 speed rating 3 starts back while finishing 3rd in the 10 furlong Grade III Fernazzle Classic Cup in Australia. He prepped for this race by winning a 9 furlong NW4X allowance race. He is a closer who sits well back early and saves his best run for the late stretch. The rider for today’s race will be Brownlow (11.6%).

10)TUPUNGATO(KY)—13/1—hipica sends this filly out of RAHY with a record of 16-5-5-3 and lifetime earnings of $150,876. This 63rd divisional ranked filly is based over at the Hispano Parlante racing association. It should be noted that the hipica stables are just one win shy of the magical 100 career win mark. This filly ran on the dirt for her first 8 lifetime starts and finished in the top 3 in every race but was still changed to the turf in her last race last season. She continiued her top 3 finished in her first 4 starts including a win in The Your Notebooks(FR) Stakes in South Dakota but has found the going much tougher since running in Graded stakes events in her last 4 starts. She has managed one 2nd place finish in those 4 starts, which came 2 starts back where she posted her lifetime best 100 speed rating in the 10 furlong Grade II Crumble Classic in Dubai. With the lack of alot of speed in this race today she could end up cutting some easy fractions today and with the cut back in distance may be able to carry it right thru to the wire. But now comes the tough part, firstly she is the only mare in this race and will be facing the boys for the first time in her career so it will be up to you to decide whether she will be able to handle that challenge today. The rider for today’s race will be Clink (7%).

11)DANCING TENPIN—6/1—tenpin8 sends this colt out of THEATRICAL(IRE) with a record of 11-4-3-2 and lifetime earnings of $165,780. This 119th divisional ranked colt races for the Great Plains Residency division of the Rock River Stables. This colt won his first 3 lifetime starts in the allowance ranks and has added a stakes win to that total this season. He has finished in the top 3 in his last 6 starts, all overnite stakes races. He has twice posted his lifetime best 105 speed rating, first while winning The Rock On Australia Special stakes and most recently in his last start while finishing 2nd in The Money Man Stakes in France. He is a closer and while he has won at the 9 furlong distance in an allowance earlier this year his best runs have come in long sprints which he has run in his last 4 starts. If he can find a way to carry his speed rating to the longer races he may well turn out to be a difficult foe in this race today. He is out of the mare IMAWILDONE who was 7/36 at the track and who has 2 foals on record, both winners including 1 Graded stakes winner. This 5th divisional ranked colt races for Pedro’s Racing Empire based over at the EAAA racing association. This colt was a 2 time winner as a 2 year old and has added 4 more wins this season. All the wins this year have been added money events including 2 Graded stakes victories. He capture the Grade III Dracula stakes earlier this year and then posted his lifetime best 109 speed rating 2 starts back while winning The Grade II Tette Mile Classic in Sweden. It should be noted that except for his MSW win that all of his victories have come at the 8 furlong distance. He has one race earlier this year where he finished 2nd over 9.5 furlongs. He is a stalker and if he can ajust his run for the extra furlong today he would be very difficult to beat but that extra furlong in this race may lead some punters to try and find longer odds in this race today. The jockey for today’s race will be Elliot (20.9%) who is the leading rider at the Maryland meet this season.

13)FALSE MEMORIES(KY)—18/1—lender4 sends this colt out of KINGMAMBO with a record of 15-5-2-2 and lifetime earnings of $239,540. This 24th divisional ranked colt races for the Dead In The Lane stables based over at the GR Simsters. This colt was a stakes winner and Graded stakes placed runner as a 2 year old and has added 2 more stakes wins included in his 3 victories this year. He comes into this race having posted his lifetime best 95 speed rating while finishing 5th in The Montana El Memorial Stakes in Georgia. He will probably need to improve that mark to be a factor here today as many others are showing triple digit speed ratings in their past performances. He does have early speed and should help to ensure an honest pace and he has already proved capable at this distance. The rider for today’s race will be Gerhke (19.8%).

Well, one of the favorites tries the grass for the first time and the other is going and extra furlong from it’s preferred distance.
