This Saturday marks the first weekend of racing at the\u00a0”\u00a0 Summer Ocean Playground”\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

and will feature the\u00a0Grade 1 Eddie O,\u00a0 <\/strong>with\u00a03 year old’s and up traveling 9F on the turf<\/p>\n

course.\u00a0 \u00a0This strong field of fourteen has a stacked deck of eleven Graded Stakes winners of which five<\/p>\n

are of the Grade 1 variety.<\/p>\n

The 5 year old gelding\u00a0Evil Seeking\u00a0<\/strong>has been placed as the 6\/1 favorite in\u00a0this tightly matched<\/p>\n

group.\u00a0 \u00a0Although\u00a0Evil Seeking\u00a0<\/strong>has only won at the\u00a0Grade 3 level\u00a0<\/strong>his form this\u00a0year fits nicely in<\/p>\n

this race. The connections\u00a0fairhaven 9\u00a0<\/strong>which is ran by sim trainer\u00a0\u00a0Lenny<\/strong> who\u00a0has trained several<\/p>\n

grade 1 winners over the years.\u00a0Lenny\u00a0<\/strong>will have his hands full in today’s race as the horse and trainer<\/p>\n

list for\u00a0the\u00a0Eddie O’ is long and deep with talent.\u00a0<\/strong> Let’s take a closer look at the horses and their<\/p>\n

connections.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1.\u00a0ARVA\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0gioponti\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0AUS (Savabeel\u00a0 X\u00a0 Encosta De Lago)\u00a0 SW and Graded placed<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This mostly South Pacific and Eastern Asian performer has taken a couple of 100K stakes at todays<\/p>\n

distance of 9F and at 9.5 furlongs.\u00a0 His best outing may have been the 2nd he ran in the Main Oak\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

GR2 Japan <\/strong>in the\u00a0Fall.\u00a0\u00a0Finishing 2nd to Grade 1 winner Major Dansili.\u00a0 This\u00a0 will not be the first<\/p>\n

time the large operation of\u00a0CV Bear\u00a0<\/strong>has sent\u00a0ARVA<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>to the\u00a0United States.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>His other start in<\/p>\n

California against\u00a0<\/strong>Grade 2\u00a0 competition resulted in a flat performance.\u00a0 It would be a big upset<\/p>\n

if he was to win but always\u00a0 possibilities to score a check at 11-1.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Furious Yankee\u00a0 \u00a0lastpharaoh\u00a0 (Giant’s Causeway X Pulpit) GR 2 stakes winner at <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

eight furlongs<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This horse has been on a serious roll.\u00a0 Winner of 4 stakes races in a row and 9 of 10 races,<\/p>\n

Furious Yankee\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is a star in the making.\u00a0 Having only ten races this four year old still has a lot of<\/p>\n

developing to do.\u00a0 The question in today’s race is whether he will stretch it out to 9F with the same\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

result.\u00a0 This\u00a0horse with connections to the large\u00a0yankee<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0operation has ticked every box and I look<\/p>\n

for a big showing today.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Concejal\u00a0 \u00a0pato13\u00a0 (Sea The Stars X\u00a0 Danehill)\u00a0 Grade 1 placed\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This horse from the large\u00a0South American Pato<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>operations first surfaced as a major player in the<\/p>\n

middle distance turf runner when finishing 2nd in the Equinics at 41-1 in the late winter of 2018.<\/p>\n

After a brief freshening he was then sent to the\u00a0Grade 1 Woody<\/strong><\/em> Ford<\/strong> where he ran flatley and was<\/p>\n

never in contention.\u00a0 After that effort he went into a\u00a0NW3L<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>where he won impressively.\u00a0 So we must<\/p>\n

asked which horse will show up on Saturday.\u00a0 I’ll put a line through the Woody Ford G1<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>and say<\/p>\n

that at\u00a017-1 Concejal<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>is of great value.\u00a0 Eleven races under his belt I believe his future to be very<\/p>\n

bright.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4. Tadious<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0tatty4\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(Bernardini X Sadler’s Well)\u00a0 Grade 1 winner\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Grade 1 winner of the\u00a0Woody Ford<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>has established himself as another in a group of real solid 4<\/p>\n

year old turf middle distance runners.\u00a0 Winner of 6 races in a row of which two were GRade 2 wins<\/p>\n

has solidly placed him as a real live horse in today’s race.\u00a0\u00a0Tadious<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>comes from a large sim operation<\/p>\n

better known as\u00a0kevoman or coolk\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>whose operation spreads far and wide with success at home<\/p>\n

and abroad.\u00a0 The odds of 15-1 are also very fair in a race like this.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0Flame Of Freedom\u00a0 \u00a0 super 30\u00a0 \u00a0 (IRE Dubawi X Kinmambo)\u00a0 Grade 1 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

What a versatile horse this guy\u00a0 has been.\u00a0\u00a0Flame Of Freedom<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong> has been a graded stakes winner at<\/p>\n

two, three and four and is still ranked number #8 overall.\u00a0 \u00a0This stable\u00a0 of super 30<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is better known<\/p>\n

as whirlwind<\/i>\u00a0<\/b>and has many years of experience guiding\u00a0thoroughbreds just like this guy to bigger<\/p>\n

and better things.\u00a0\u00a0I believe Flame For Freedom<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>is the real deal and it will take another very<\/p>\n

special horse to take this horse down.\u00a0 The odds of\u00a012-1<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0are pretty nice for\u00a0#8th ranked horse.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

6.\u00a0Rhaegar’s Rage\u00a0 \u00a0 aryahound2\u00a0 \u00a0 (Giant’s Causeway X Daiwa Major) grade 1 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This colt with over\u00a05 million<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>in earnings in 17 starts is really a 10F specialist trying a shorter distance<\/p>\n

hoping that wires the race at the shorter 9F distance.\u00a0 \u00a0Owned and trained by the sims version of<\/p>\n

UAE SHEIK\u00a0 *Given,\u00a0 he always seems to have the golden touch.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em> <\/strong>\u00a0 I will bet that he can’t<\/p>\n

win a grade 1 at this shorter distance.\u00a0 Punters have sent him off at\u00a010\/1<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>which may\u00a0have a little to do<\/p>\n

with his connections known to bet their well meant horses with both hands.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

7.\u00a0Swanport River\u00a0 \u00a0 liam9\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(Sebring X Dubai Millennium) grade 3 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This very quick son of\u00a0Sebring<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>loves to show the way in a race and has been very successful over his<\/p>\n

years on the track.\u00a0 Today he’s going to try and do this against some of the world’s best middle<\/p>\n

distance\u00a0runners with\u00a0 much deeper resumes.\u00a0 If he’s left loose on the lead it is not impossible for a<\/p>\n

magical trip.\u00a0 The connections\u00a0of\u00a0liam<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>know how to pull of a shocker and have performed sim feat’s<\/p>\n

nobody thought could be pulled off so don’t count them out.\u00a0 The odds of 10-1 tell me that just maybe<\/p>\n

the connection and punters feel he could get loose.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

8.\u00a0Macho Falcon\u00a0 \u00a0padrebri3\u00a0 \u00a0(Macho Uno Dubai Millennium)\u00a0 Graded placed<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This 5 year old son of Mach Uno has been a solid allowance runner for most of his career with 8 wins<\/p>\n

in 28 starts and over 300K in winnings.\u00a0 He recently snuck into a Gr1 field that only had 10 go<\/p>\n

postward scoring a very respectable 3rd at 10 F.\u00a0 \u00a0It’s hard to believe that he broke his maiden in a<\/p>\n

MDN 45K claimer, and offered again at 150K claiming.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>I think the 14-1 odds are a little<\/p>\n

lean in a field like this.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

9.\u00a0Staying Sharp\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0boudin\u00a0 \u00a0 (\u00a0JP Stay Gold X\u00a0 Danehill)\u00a0 \u00a0Grade 2 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This recently\u00a0gelded<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>son of\u00a0 Stay Gold\u00a0<\/strong>has been very strong at today’s 9 F distance and it is a litte<\/p>\n

unusual to\u00a0geld<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>a horse this late in his career, especially one that has been successful.\u00a0 His form does<\/p>\n

seem a little in and out which may have something to do with his personality.\u00a0 I have heard at times<\/p>\n

in the morning he was getting a little studdish on the track.\u00a0 This 5 yr old is in the capable hands of<\/p>\n

canyongate (phillip) who\u00a0is a very capable sim trainer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>The odds set at 10-1 also seem to<\/p>\n

point to a better track presentation in today’s race.<\/p>\n

10.\u00a0\u00a0Ready Revolver\u00a0 \u00a0 escapade\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0( Dubawi X Im Deep Impact)\u00a0 Grade 2 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Another very good middle distance turf runner to add to the list.\u00a0 The question is with only one start<\/p>\n

in 2018 can the horse turn his form around enough to take this stacked field to the woodshed ?<\/p>\n

The connection of\u00a0tisjuliet<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>are very capable of getting a horse ready off of one prep.\u00a0 Look for signs<\/p>\n

in the post parade.\u00a0 If he’s dancing don’t rule out.\u00a0 The odds of\u00a010-1<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>are solid in a field like this which<\/p>\n

means a little smart money may have been pushed through the windows.<\/p>\n

11.\u00a0Evil Seeking\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0fairhaven\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (Bernardini X Dubai Millennium)\u00a0 Grade 3 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The race favorite at\u00a06\/1\u00a0 odds<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>is\u00a0the son of Bernardini<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong> a little overrated?\u00a0 The only negative I can<\/p>\n

find is he has run a long time with hardly any breaks.\u00a0 It would be possible for him to fall off but I’m<\/p>\n

not one to gamble against a tough horse who’s done it time and time again.\u00a0 He might not win today<\/p>\n

but it would be hard not to see him in the top three.\u00a0 How many bullets are left?<\/p>\n

12.\u00a0Major Dansili\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0jbcri48\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(Dansili X Daiwa Major)\u00a0 \u00a0Grade 1 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Here’s a horse that should be on everyone’s ticket.\u00a0 \u00a0Equinics champion who after a three month layoff<\/p>\n

just missed by a 1\/2 length in the\u00a0Woody Ford G1.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>I really believe that he on his top form and he’s<\/p>\n

going to be my pick.\u00a0 Odds are right on the money at\u00a08\/1 ….. Needs to move at the right time<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

to beat a super group like this.<\/p>\n

13.\u00a0\u00a0Panama\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0swany\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(Stravinsky X Dynaformer)\u00a0 \u00a0Grade 3 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This\u00a0grade 3 winner<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>would really have to turn it up a notch to win a\u00a0top Gr1<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>after struggling<\/p>\n

against lower tear horses.\u00a0 If anyone could pull this off it would be these connection who are<\/p>\n

controlled by\u00a0Aussie Legend Davarto.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Now if I’m wrong about the Aussie thing then I’ll go ahead<\/p>\n

and say whoops right now… I’m 57 years young and the memory is a little limited.\u00a0 \u00a0Odds of<\/p>\n

8\/1 say that I’m talking out my ***<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

14.\u00a0\u00a0Dynamic Dreamer\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0myt4go2\u00a0 (Oasis Dream X Street Cry)\u00a0 Grade 1 winner<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Grade 1 winner at 3 yrs of age going 1 mile.\u00a0 He tried a few grade 2 against older which he gave<\/p>\n

a good showing without a win.\u00a0 He took a 5 month break after a poor showing in a 100K stk.<\/p>\n

Then returned with a solid outing in a Alw race at today’s distance.\u00a0 The extra year of maturity<\/p>\n

and the nice prep may have set him up to hi-jack this bunch at 10-1 odds.<\/p>\n
