She has one of the best in the business in the leather in Gardner and he is especially adept at guiding the juveniles in his ten years holding the whip. His mom was an unheralded runner with nary a stakes win but this guy would like to do her one better. He has a stalking style that may help him here. He is from the sometimes controversial sire WAR CHANT with excellent back end breeding. He had Trumbull in the irons and he is quite capable of bringing home a winner although he running a lighter schedule in this his seventeenth year. He has two Stakes wins including a Grade II last time out when he nosed past the wire after being back in ninth place at the turn. He has the late speed that may help him from the fourth position. Trainer Super21 has an amazing win percentage and sure knows how to saddle them up. Could this be the next great Super Stables horse? This race could help show that to the owners. Kewmwa is in the saddle and has been smoking this year with a 26% win percentage in his rookie year. The number five ranked turf colt would like to improve that ranking with this stretched out race.<PP#5>

5 – MILLVIEW FARM(AUS)

ODDS

OWNER

WIN%

JOCKEY

WIN%

TOP SPEED

EARNINGS

RANK

13/1

Wyndaway1

2.5%

B.Watson

52 – 5 – 0 – 9 – 10%

72.67

$ 63,750</T>
64</T>

( FACE VALUE x BUBBLE GUM FELLOW (JPN) x DEERHOUND) Although finishing second with a nice 73 SPF in his first Stakes effort last time out, this fellow needs to show what he can do against the blue bloods in this race. Freshman Sire FACE VALUE is still looking for one of his offspring to win their first Stakes race and this is one of the best candidates. Trainer Wyndaway1 has to be excited about this big colt and hopes that stretching him out here will allow him to keep that closing style he has shown in his turf races. This has a chance to be a really electrifying race and it may end up with lots of jostling for the win at the finish. I like ONAHIGHERPLANE to finish fourth although he may finish much better. I would like to see him with another race under his belt at the Graded level before choosing him higher. PRIMETIME WARRIOR is a nice contender but only has the one race under his belt to show his stuff. This will be his first Graded or Stakes outing and I think he has enough to finish in the top three. That leaves two that you could flip a coin between.
