This piece of fictional fun is a chance for us to be introduced to one of the SIMS jockeys based on a popular TV show that features Comedians and Coffee.<\/strong><\/p>\n

WELCOME TO THE FIRST EPISODE OF “JOCKEYS ON HORSES GETTING MILK”.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On today’s show we are riding on two of the famous Budweiser Clydesdales. The Budweiser Clydesdales were first introduced to the public on <\/span>April 7, 1933. To qualify for the team, a Budweiser Clydesdale must be a gelding with an even temperament and strong, draft horse appearance, <\/span>be at least four years old, bay in color, stand at least 18 hands when fully mature,have four white socks and a blaze of white on its face. <\/span>Today we are riding on “Buck” and “Barney”.<\/span><\/p>\n

My guest today is Joel Selden, a twenty-two year veteran of the game that calls Brazil home. He has an impressive lifetime mark <\/span>of finishing in the money in 61 % of his races. Joel is married and has three kids and a dog named “Pel\u00e9”.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m DUNN and this is “JOCKEYS ON HORSES GETTING MILK”!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n


\nDunn(on phone): Hey Joel its Dunn, I’m in the neighborhood and have two great horses for us to ride. Want to go for Milk?<\/span><\/p>\n

Joel(on phone): I would love to Dunn, I have been looking forward to your call.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDUNN ARRIVES AT JOEL’S HOUSE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n


\nDunn: What do you think of our rides today?<\/span><\/p>\n

Joel: Dunn, this is a dream come true. I never thought I’d get a chance to ride one of the famous Budweiser Clydesdales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunn: While today is your lucky day.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDUNN AND JOEL SADDLE UP<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n


\nJoel: I’ve ridden some big horses in my life but this is ridiculous.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunn: I’ve been wondering Joel, how did you get into Horse Racing in the first place?<\/span><\/p>\n

Joel: While I was always very athletic growing up and was the star of my Football (what you call Soccer)Team and had dreams of playing for <\/span>PALMEIRAS and then a funny thing happened…I stopped growing. I grew up on a farm and had always been around horses and actually my Uncle <\/span>was a jockey and he introduced me to it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunn: What was it like the first time you raced?<\/span><\/p>\n

Joel: Lots of different emotions really. It was exciting and scary at the same time. The horse seemed so big and the speed that everything <\/span>happens at, you have to just react and trust the horse and trust your instincts and training.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunn: How did you do in that first race?<\/span><\/p>\n

Joel: Not good….I think I finished second to last but it was a start and I knew that I would get better.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunn: Did you have any role models early on?<\/span><\/p>\n

Joel: I am a big Jorge Ricardo fan. He won 400 races in a year on five occasions and he has been very supportive and <\/span>someone I looked up to.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunn: You just had a big win at the “Equinics Ray of Pye” aboard Major Dansili . What is it like winning a big race like that?<\/span><\/p>\n

Joel: Any time you win a big race like that it is exciting. It was great working with the jbcri48 team. The race really couldn’t\u00a0<\/span>have been any closer, to win by a nose like that just adds to the thrill. He is a really nice horse to ride, with a great future ahead of\u00a0<\/span>him. I hope I get the chance to work with him again soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunn: Congrats on a great race, unfortunately I didn’t bet on you that day. It’s really hot out here! Are you ready for some Milk?<\/span><\/p>\n

Joel: I am always ready for Milk Dunn!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunn: Great, lets stop here for a drink. It has been great getting to know you Joel. Thanks for being my first guest.<\/span><\/p>\n
