This horse runs for the Taboo stables that are based right here in the Minnesota Downs backstretch.\u00a0This filly has started in 2 MSW dirt\u00a0races so far, winning her last effort in North Dakota posting a 68 speed rating over 5.5 furlongs. Her connections are moving her to the turf today for the first time and hope to see which will be the preferred\u00a0surface\u00a0for this girl. Hijacked(13%) will be aboard this filly who has so far shown herself to be\u00a0an excellent closer.<\/P> 2)CIRCUS\u00a0PLUME(ENG)—5\/2<\/STRONG>—saxlhof sends this filly out of\u00a0PICCOLO(GB)\u00a0with a record of 2-1-1-0 and lifetime earnings of $27,160. She races for the unafilliated Kisber stables. She broke her maiden in her\u00a0debut start in Virginia earlier this year while posting a lifetime best 69 speed rating over the 5.5 furlong turf race. She came back last time out to finish 2nd in an\u00a0overnite stakes in Northern California and this stakes experience may help her out in today’s race. She is another who seems to favor a closing style and\u00a0she will be ridden by Napper (8.3%) today. Hopefully the Napper will be able to stay awake long enough on this one to get her home on top.<\/P> 3)SIXSPEECH(MD)—2\/1<\/STRONG>—sixesplus1 sends out this filly out of\u00a0ORATORY with a record of 2-1-0-0 and lifetime earnings of\u00a0$28,250.\u00a0She is out of the mare\u00a0MINUSNINE who was 1\/18 at the track and\u00a0this is the only foal on record. She is based in\u00a0Vermont under the umbrela of the Pastures of Green. She started her career in a tough\u00a02 year old open allowance and pressed the pace but could not catch the leaders in the stretch ending up in 5th place. In her next start she was placed in a turf MSW race where she again pressed right on the lead and took over in the final stretch and held on to win posting a 69 speed rating for the 6 furlong race. She is the only speed in this short 4 horse field and may be tough to catch if Bowen(20.4%) rates her well.
