A full field of fillies lined up for the six furlong sprint, nervously moving through the post parade and loading into the starting gates. Some fillies baulked before going in the gate, still new to the world of racing. Once the field was loaded in the tense waiting for the gates to open began.
When the gates did open and the fillies came galloping out it was undefeated Paul’s Boutique (AUS), owned by crawf68, out to an early lead by one-fourth of a length over 2ndchoice trained Flying Finish (JPN). Along in fourth and fifth were Miss Moors and Azking For It (IRE), owned and trained by parramatta and enfuego respectively. Moving up into seventh was Smooze (NZ), trained by holyghost, who put back Bonezip Rip, trained by ksprarrow11, into eighth. Azking For It (IRE) fell back into sixth. Still trailing the pack, now back by seven lengths, was Lot At Steak (AUS).
Coming down toward the wire in the sprint it was turning into a spectacular finish with Paul’s Bouqiue (AUS) and Miss Moors right in there head to head, who was in the lead to tight to call. On the outside of them was Notin To Cry About (AUS) who was only back by a head under the two other battling fillies, but gaining ground with every stride. A length in a half back in fourth it was Proclaim The Truth (IRE), owned by irshaman, who was beginning to make her move along with Smooze (NZ) in fifth. Falling into sixth was Seeking Cat. Bonezip Rip moved up into seventh with Azking For It (IRE) fading into eighth. Flying Finish (JPN) was in ninth with bevron owned Cindy Stone (ENG) beginning to move slowly into tenth.
