She has an outstanding stakes record having started in stakes raced for her past 17 races. She has won at Grade II level back in week 3098 in the Whodini Shootout. She looks to be a stalker who will settle just off the pace and she will look to go past them all in the stretch. She looked fabulous in her final workout as she galloped with a companion over the 6 furlong to get acquainted with the course, she let down the last 2 furlongs and pulled up well. Greyghost said “She has a great record and we hope to continue that here, she has been racing really well and makes a return to Graded class here. She is hard and fit and we are hoping for a win”. I think a win is on the card, she will be a tough competitor.

Credit Aplicant trained by Brentuk2: This is an athletic looking filly by Millenary who has won 7 of her 14 starts with another 6 starts in the money. She returns to graded class here after 6 consecutive stakes starts after a third place back in week 3028 in the Breeders Bowl Undercard Youth Turf Sprint. She will position right up on the speed and will look to go away at the top of the stretch. She looked good as she was just taken for a walk and a roll as she did her final work earlier in the week. Brentuk2 said “That is her usual pattern, she always works early in the week and we freshen her up closer to the race. She is only a small framed filly so she doesn’t need much work. She is hard and fit and hopefully here she can make it to the winners stall at graded level”. She certainly looks a great chance to do that.

Nothin’ to Lose trained by Zewango3: Wow, this is a statuesque filly by Lemon Drop Kid, she has won 8 of her 12 starts. She comes in to this race off a hard fought 5th in the 1000 <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Guineas and prior to that she wired a field in the Grade III Haley’s Comet Stakes where she recorded a 101 speed figure. She galloped with Mirari’s Wake over the 5 furlongs and was let down the final furlong, she was just getting the better of Mirari’s Wake on the post. Zewango3 said “We are happy with that work, she needed to work with a companion and thankfully Sender obliged. She is usually a lazy worker and needed some coaxing to get the final bit of work she needed. We are very happy with her and hopefully she can go on with the job for a second graded success”. She looks to be very tough to beat as she will be hard to catch in the stretch.

Mirari’s Wake trained by Sender: A small framed by athletic filly by North Light who has won 7 of her 11 starts with 3 other in the money finishes. She has had her past 9 starts in stakes class with a great second in the Honey Dew stakes at Grade III back in week 3000. She won last time out in the Rum Glen Stakes over this distance with a 97 speed figure when she led all the way. She galloped well in her final work with Nothin’ to Lose, she was just shaded on the post over the 5 furlong gallop. Sender said “She galloped well, we just held her up a little but she certainly lifts on race day anyway. She just needed the extra bit of work since it is 4 weeks since her last run. She is well suited by this distance so we are hoping for a great performance and hopefully a win”. She looks to be another who will certainly be very hard to beat.

French Penthouse trained by Rlogans: This is a wonderful looking chestnut filly by French Deputy. She has won 7 of her 13 starts including her last 6 in a row and that includes 5 stakes races and interestingly makes her graded debut.. So she is in fantastic form. She has only missed a place once on the turf and she looked fantastic as she just cantered around the inner fibre track, she then stopped for a look around and was met by Rlogans as she came off the track. Rlogans said “She just needed a light bit of light work to get her out of the stable. She had had a long build up to this race with 5 weeks since her last run. She performs well first up so we are hoping for a great run from her, she will certainly give them something to chase for a long way”. She had great form and that cannot be faulted, she will be right in this for a very very long way.

Redoute’s World trained by Kensai: A very long and lanky mare here by the Australian sire Redoute’s Choice. She has an exceptional record of 5 wins from her 12 starts but with all of her other 7 starts in the money. She has been in stakes class her 10 races with a third back in week 2979 in the Grade II Wolfmother Stakes. She is another who looks to lead this race so there will certainly be a massive amount of speed on here. She looked good when she just trotted several laps around the centre of the track and then cantered a lap of the sand track. Kesai said “She is very fit and very fresh after 6 weeks since her last run. We aim to space her runs so she is fresh all the time. She runs best that way. She likes to lead and that is a concern here with the amount of speed in the race. Maybe we will try to take a sit. We are positive she will perform well”. I am positive she will go well as well, another who will be right there in the finish.

The Matador trained by Ebryant: A beautiful filly by Rahy who has won 6 of her 11 starts but has the imposing turf record of 6 wins and 4 seconds from 10 starts. She has been in stakes races for her past 7 starts and makes her graded debut here and she looks right up to the challenge. Won last time out over this distance in the Stiff word stakes when she recorded a 95 speed figure on the off track. She will look to come from off the speed and that will probably be how the race will be won here. She look solid when she just was taken for a few laps of the pool as her final workout for this race. Ebryant said “She has a fantastic turf record, she just grew another leg when she changed surfaces. She never does much before a race, all the work was done last week so a swim was all she needed. She has the right running style for this race with all of the pace in it. Hopefully she gets a nice run in transit and she can get over them in the stretch”. She looks a good chance with the right run.

Sappho trained by Knightess: A tall filly by Dynaformer, she has a good record of 5 wins from her 14 starts with 6 placed finishes. She has been in stakes class 13 of her 14 races and she has been competing at the highest level but is yet to win a graded race. She ran well last time in the grade III Si’ Senorita Special when she finished 5th with an 88 speed figure, which interestingly enough is her highest speed figure. She will need to improve on that to figure in the finish here. She looked sharp as she galloped over the 6 furlongs with Peitrie’s Gold and they both were quickening up over the final 3 furlongs and they both crossed the line locked together. Knightess said “She is a lazy filly who need an incentive to work, that is why she had the galloping companion, thanks to Thebigo. She just needed to be familiarised with the track here as she has not raced here for nearly 6 months. She will need some improvement to be in the finish here as it is a tough race for her”. It is a tough race and she will need to be at her very very best.

Peitries’s Gold trained by Thebigo: This is a very impressive looking roan filly by Golden Missile, she has a great record of 6 wins from her 12 starts but on the turf she has 5 wins from 8 starts and 3 other placed finishes. She has had her past 6 starts at stakes level including her last 2 at Graded level with a win in the Grade III Si’ Senorita Special 2 starts back over the 8 furlongs. She looks to certainly have great ability and she is undefeated over the turf sprint. She looked impressive as she galloped over the 6 furlongs with Sappho when they crossed the line together after quickening over the last 3 furlongs. Thebigo said “She was impressive in that work, her companion is a good horse so we are happy with that. She did not need to do too much just a little bit to get her mind back on the job after she has spent the last week in the paddock. She will appreciate the drop back to a sprint trip so she will run very well”. She has an impressive record so she on class alone will be right there at the end.

Seeking Rainbows trained by Rfrankel: A lovely compact brown filly by the super Godolphin horse Dubawi. She has an impressive record of 4 wins from her 8 starts but then 2 seconds and 2 thirds as well. She makes the jump to graded level here but she has had 4 stakes races so far and she has won 1 of them, she won last time out in the Their Diggers Special over this distance with a 90 speed figure. She looked solid as she just walked around the stalls and then had a pick of grass. She looked alert and fresh. Rfrankel said “It has been 6 weeks since her last run, she is fresh and doesn’t need any work this week. She will be right up on the speed here and we will try to take a sit if wee can. She has a touch of class about here and we think she deserves her chance at the graded races”. She looked in fine fettle going around the track for her final workout and she looked good as she ran down her final 2 furlongs. Whoami2 said “She is certainly going to have her work cut out here but she has some further improvement in her. She has worked well and we are really just hoping”. She won back in week 3140 in the Mn vs Vt restricted stakes and was very impressive that day. She looked great as she just strode around the course proper with no real intention of going quickly, she looked very bright and relaxed coming off the track. Lilmitsi said “That is how she works best, just long slow relaxed work. There is no point pushing her. She is fit after her last run when she was a touch unlucky, she was checked just after the start you know, that probably cost her the win, but hey that is racing. She can atone here and we are confident of that”. Well if the trainer has confidence then so do I, she does look a good solid chance.

Ancient Giant trained by Tullbrink2: A tall and athletic looking filly by Mingun who has won 4 of her 16 starts. She has not won since week 3000 when she won the Project Bail Stakes. She certainly appears to favour the sprint trip but with speed figures only in the high 80’s she is going to be challenged here. She looked good in her final hit out when she galloped over the 5 furlongs with Fax At Dawn, they quickened up over the final 2 furlongs but she was well held on the line and came off the track in fine order. Tullbrink2 said “She has worked well leading up to this race but she has been off her game the past 2 races. We are not sure what the problem has been but we are hopeful of a much improved performance here with the drop back in distance. She should run well but it is a tough task”. She has a grade III second 2 starts backing the Latonia Special where she was just beaten by a ¼ length. She will certainly be suited here. She galloped well with Ancient Giant over the 5 furlongs and quickened the last 2 furlongs. She looked to have the measure of Ancient Giant even though they crossed the line together. Paydirt41 said “We just wanted a solid hit out for her, and that is what we got. She is in good order and comes in with confidence after last starts win.
