{"id":4221,"date":"2007-05-20T11:23:03","date_gmt":"2007-05-20T11:23:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blacktypebugler.com\/?p=4221"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","slug":"oldbtb_2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/?p=4221","title":{"rendered":"Business As (Un)usual"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>Two-year-olds can make fools out of you (and me), and <STRONG>Miss Hennypenny<\/STRONG> was out to get this journalist&#8211;no more running style cracks from me!<\/P><P>As expected, longshot <STRONG>Tropical Trophy<\/STRONG> went to right to the lead.\u00a0 <STRONG>Storm the Skies<\/STRONG>, stakes winner <STRONG>Bernardini&#8217;s Hill<\/STRONG>, and third choice <STRONG>Romans Nine<\/STRONG> kept her company, and the rest of the field ranged out behind with the eventual winner settling back in eleventh, ahead of only <STRONG>Roses on the Moon<\/STRONG> and <STRONG>Waki Kitten<\/STRONG>.<\/P><P>But 4.5 furlongs isn&#8217;t a long way, and things started happening fast at the top of the stretch.\u00a0 Bernardini&#8217;s Hill and Storm the Skies had begun to fade, but Tropical Trophy was still holding out against a determined Romans Nine.\u00a0 The favorite, <STRONG>Its Over Now<\/STRONG>, was trying to build some momentum, but Miss Hennypenny from midpack was the only one making any headway at all.\u00a0 S.
