Five and one-fourth lengths back in third was Tell Me When To Go<\/b>, owned and trained by romeshome<\/i>. Running along in fourth and fifth were Nagasaki (IRE)<\/b> and Chain Reaction<\/b>, trained and owned by casino<\/i> and zonabear<\/i> respectively. Breaking last out of the gate and back by eight and one-fourth lengths was sdmf5<\/i> trained Death Alley Driver<\/b>.
Damnation<\/b> lengthened his lead to three and a half lengths over Dornish March<\/b>, still in second. Moving up into third place was Nagasaki (IRE)<\/b> with Tell Me When To Go<\/b> dropping back into fourth. Chain Reaction<\/b> still continued to run in fifth just off the pace. Death Alley Driver<\/b> continued to trail the pack, now back by twelve and three-fourths lengths.
Coming into the turn it was Dornish March<\/b> who had the lead by a narrow head over former front-runner Damnation<\/b>. Nagasaki (IRE)<\/b> continued to run on in third, with seven year old veteran racehorse Journeyman<\/b>, owned by kiri<\/i> making a big move on the inside and rocketing up into fourth. Coming up behind in fifth was talented<\/i> trained The Green Felt<\/b>. Dropping out of the race into sixth was Tell Me When To Go<\/b> with Chain Reaction<\/b> totally spent and dropping to seventh. Death Alley Driver<\/b> was beginning to gain some ground and was now in eighth passing by resting<\/i> trained Bird Of Paradise<\/b>, ten and one half lengths back as the field came for home.
The nine horse field came charging at the wire and it was late-runner The Green Felt<\/b>, owned by talented<\/i> with jockey M. Billig riding to pass under the wire first just one-fourth length ahead of veteran Journeyman<\/b>. Nagasaki (IRE)<\/b> finished third.
