Deyoto turns back on Conglomerate!<\/p>\n
Just weeks before the biggest race in the short history of the Australian conglomerate, co-founder Deyoto Lefranse has left the country on a tax payer funded overseas junket. With the Ruby Slipper final only a fortnight away many in racing circles have questioned the timing of the overseas trip.<\/p>\n
\tWith three starters in the Slipper final including colts prelude winner Bucks Party, Deyoto and all the staff at Heartwood Lodge were heading toward more glory on the big stage, but with Deyoto\u2019s defection the staff at Heartwood Lodge are said to be in turmoil. I spoke to Deyoto\u2019s stable foreman Paolo Garcia earlier today who had the following to say; \u201c Yeah it\u2019s a total shock, I got up for work one Sunday morning and when I went into the office there was a note from the boss saying he\u2019d left the country and he\u2019ll be back in 12 months. I\u2019m alright at training the horses but I\u2019m no Deyoto Lefranse, I mean the Ruby Slipper final is two weeks away and I can\u2019t promise I\u2019ll have any of the horses sharp for the race\u201d. When asked wether Deyoto was suffering from a pre-mid life crisis Garcia neither confirmed or denied the allegations which has only added to the intrigue into the shock departure.<\/p>\n
\tFellow conglomerate members Gianluigi Aggulotto and Captain Nog were furious when told about the defection of their close friend and arch rival.

\tWhile the exact where about\u2019s of Deyoto are unknown, rumours he was at last weeks 2000 Guineas meet to see his stable poster boy Paycheck record his maiden G1 victory have been confirmed. To only add to his reputation of being a high flying, limo riding, big gold chain wearing disco king, Deyoto was last seen boarding a plane to the party island of Ibiza.<\/p>\n
