This is a 5f sprint on the dirt for 2Yo so there is not a lot of form to go on-

PRAYER TOWN(KY) (SPEIGHTSTOWN x A.P. INDY x NORTHERN DANCER) hidden
Won his maiden over 5.5f with a nice 68sp and can be expected to improve on that here. Looks as though he’ll want at least a mile in time but for now, he has to rate a real danger here.

FERNANDO HERO(KY) (DEHERE x SEEKING THE GOLD x DANEHILL) fernando
Won over 6f first time out with a 66sp and is another who will probably want further as he gets older. Third offspring of a Grade E mare who was best on turf, so that raises some questions here.

JACOBITE ROCKY(IRE) (IFFRAAJ x ROCK SLIDE x DYNAFORMER) parakeet
Ran a close third in an allowance first time out and then put up a 78sp to win his maiden latest. That’s a big sp but it was over 6f and on sloppy ground. First foal of a Grade G mare who also preferred turf. Again lots of questions but interesting on that sp alone.

GHOST IN A DANCER(KY) (GHOSTZAPPER x STORM CAT x FAPPIANO) triscay
A good sp of 75 to win his maiden in his only run but again that was over 6f and he only got up on the line. First foal of a Grade E router, this mat already be too short.

BIGEASY SONG(KY) (SONGANDAPRAYER x DOLLAR BILL x FUSAICHI PEGASUS) bigeasy
Has already run twice with a best sp of 55 and has yet to win. Will have to improve by some 20 sp points to even make the money here. Not today.

FIGHTIN’ TIGER(KY) (DIXIELAND BAND x A.P. INDY x MAJESTIC LIGHT) topicountc
Won an allowance first time out with a 70sp and should improve from that run. Fifth foal of a Grade H mare, whose other offspring have mostly flattered to deceive. Still has shown promise and could be a threat.

ROCKING FORTY(KY) (ROCK HARD TEN x STORM CAT x KINGMAMBO) billzpaid
Bred to be a really speedy 2Yo and won first time up with a 78sp. First foal of a Grade H mare but she was impeccably bred. Worthy favourite and must have a big shout.

GIFT CERTIFICATE(FL) (MONTBROOK x ROYAL SKI x LEO CASTELLI) vermacht
One race and one win with a 70sp over 6f. That was on good ground but he was farthest in front at the three quarter pole. Not the best breeding here but still has a chance.

STORMLEAR(MD) (FANTASTICAT x STORM BOOT x LEAR FAN) xssessivx
Won nicely first time out with a 71sp but that was in a restricted maiden so the merit of the form is hard to judge. Still a 71sp is good and she looks a big price at 25/1. Should run better than that.

LOUIE FINN(ARG) (LUHUK x SEMIPALATINSK x STAR WAY (GB)) cappyboy
Another who is one from one with a 66sp first time up. However that’s a fairly cheap pedigree and there have to be doubts about how much he can improve at this level.

HOFFNUNG(JPN) (ROSES IN MAY x SEATTLE SLEW x MR. PROSPECTOR) stefanus
The third favourite following his maiden win with a 72sp and lots of blue blood in that pedigree. Fifth foal of a Grade D mare and since the other were pretty poor, he could be the talented one. Plenty of promise and has a real chance.

FLOWER ACCOUNT(KY) (FLOWER ALLEY x NUREYEV x PRIVATE ACCOUNT) chloedawg2
One win from two and tat was first time out on turf with a 61sp His second run on dirt produced a third with the same sp, which will be miles away here so the switch back to turf looks in order.

DANCE TO GOLD(KY) (GOLDEN MISSILE x SMART STRIKE x NORTHERN PROSPECT) klaus
Already won a stakes in his only run with a 74sp and although that was a restricted stakes it’s still very good form. 13/1 on the morning line looks a huge price and he must surely be a bigger threat than that would suggest.

CREDIT RUN(IRE) (HURRICANE RUN (IRE) x BAHRI x RED RANSOM) oasis3
The second filly in the race and she’s already two from two with 63 and 72 sp’s. Very interesting breeding and is a ridiculous price of 21/1 on the morning line. Not sure if she can get the win but has to be in with a chance of some money.

CONCLUSION- Stick a pin in the line up to pick your winner. They could all be anything and nothing at the same time. Should be a great race and you could be seeing some future stars.

[2

post-4125","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
