PETRIE’S GOLD <\/SPAN><\/B>(8\/5) Coming off a win in The LA Sword Memorial with a strong 93 speed figure she seems like a tough competitor here.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has 5 wins in 9 tries and her owner thebigo<\/I> has been excellent at finding great spots for this Roan Mare to use her solid closing kick.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Solid young jock J. Webb gets the mount and he surely has the talent to win this.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

BIG NOSED KATE <\/SPAN><\/B>(8\/5) She comes off a solid 3rd<\/SUP> place finish in The Queen Disturbing Special.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>In that race she ran a career high 92 speed figure.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has 3 wins in 10 tries and some very close ITM finishes.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She won 2 stakes races as a 2 year old and has been trained wonderfully by sipe<\/I>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This Brown Mare gets T. Meeks in the saddle and should have something to say about the finish in this race.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

URKO’S CASTLE <\/SPAN><\/B>(3\/1) The trainer champs<\/I> must be ecstatic about the start this Brown Mare has had.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>After breaking her Maiden in her first start, she went on to win 3 straight Stakes races.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She had her first lost last out in an Allowance test but still finished a solid 2nd<\/SUP>.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her high speed figure so far is a 90 so she faces a daunting task in taking down the top two.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She does get C. Shoemaker in the irons and he is one of the best jockeys at the track.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This mare has had no troubles dismissing challengers and surely will not shy away Saturday.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

SKYJACKER <\/SPAN><\/B>(3\/1) This Brown Mare has had a wonderful start to her career.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>4 wins and 2 places out of 7 starts is surely the sign of a horse that can do some running and a trainer, 911<\/I>, who knows how to handle this lady.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She is a hair behind the other ladies in the race since she has not managed to win a Stakes race yet. She did have a strong 2nd<\/SUP> by a nose in The Tootsie Rain Stakes.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her speed figures are a little bit behind the other mares in this race but she gets a smoking hot jockey in R. Fav.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Just having him on her back gives her a shot at improving enough to make this an interesting finish.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P>

My take: This is going to be a very good race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Speed guys would have to go with \u00a0<\/SPAN>Petrie\u2019s Gold<\/B> but every horse in this race has a legit show at winning.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Urko\u2019s Castle<\/B> and Skyjacker<\/B> has lesser speed figures but they have very good jockeys on board.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This one should come down to the line but it is too close for me to call.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
