Upon further review however, I’ve learned that the DPCD V is a series of horse races that’s probably topped only by the Breeders’ Bowl in regard to the competitiveness and quality it provides. It will most likely be the last race of the year for these entrants and I can’t think of a better way to cap off a big year than to earn a win this week — especially for a two-year old sprinter. She may have disliked the distance in the last two, but she’d also shown she was capable of performing well in a route earlier this year as well. He bounced back from that lackluster effort with a nice runner-up try in last however and that makes the move to a G-1 sprint all the more perplexing. He’s tried this before and the result was a sixth place finish in the G-1 Hoserhead Juvenile — a race in which he finished behind some nice customers like Rattle My Chain (AUS) and Syn City.
