The honored mare may have been running at the beginning of our sim world, but still far from a stakes winner. As a matter of fact, she was terrible the two times she ran at stakes level. She did manage to get ten win, but most of those were claming and starter races. A spokesperson for WHOA was hear commenting that they would just once like to have a descent horse honored in stakes level competition. The were went on to say at least then the entrants would be of the same quality and not vastly superior to it. Maybe that is why we have a short field this week. No one has heard of the mare and so didn’t bother to come even if the purse was a little larger than normal for Wyoming.
The $65,000 Song Cecil Special slated for Saturday will be a longer seven and a half furlong sprint. It will be on the turf and is for freshman fillies. The weather will probably be cloudy but should warm up some by the weekend. Now is the time to meet the young ladies.
Urko‘s Prey(GB) entered by piepootje. This British lass stays in Wyoming and will try for a win this time out. She has shown a good ability with a couple of strong runs, one also being a stakes win. She likes to stalk the pace, but struggles some, still a little unsure of the best time to apply this technique. She will have the wily veteran Vince Gannon in the irons that could surely help.
Lateralas entered by jlincoln. This young lady comes in of a stakes win. She is entering only her fourth race but already is showing great promise. She was moved to the grass and just exploded and seems to be improving with each run. The closer will have the flashy jockey John Dawg. The two should mesh well together.
West Coast Pop entered by avasheen. This young lady comes in as one of the early favorites. She has only two runs under the saddle, but is already being touted as a top runner. This week she will get to prove her worth as she will be pitting her skills against other equally talented lasses. The youngster is showing a tendency of wanting to close on the field and will probably do the same here. Steven Alt will take the reigns.
Copper Finch entered by foxon5. Our last young lady comes in off of two stakes wins in a row and is the other early favorite. After a slow start on the dirt she was moved to the turf and has been improving with every race. She likes to sit in the middle of the field before making her run for the front. This will be her longest run to date and once again she has drawn the top jockey. This time it is Jesse Sands.

[2,3,1

post-3354","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews","category-reviews","category-uncategorized
["GET
